Tried everything online I can find about changing languages and regions and still nothing. WB are next to useless when you ask them to fix it. 'weve sent your problem onto the appropriate department and development team for any future updates'. These are the sort of things that were around the 90's 😂 WB are a joke.
Well, thank you mate! Initially I tried following your suggestiong but it did not work. However I checked my old phone settings and saw it was configured with English (Germany) so I switched my new phone to the same setting. It worked!

Philip McK, you just need to change the region. Go to settings and search "language" then, you must find the "Language and Region" then change the region to "United States"

Update this tutorial: your new device must be set to the same region as your old one. After that, everything works like a charm. LVL60 account recovered 🤘

We have all saved our game progress to a WBID right? But if I want to change the email address then can I just use Sign Up using your email button? Moreover, can I use this new email to save the game file when I buy a new phone? Please Help 🙏
I would not recommend you to do this thing but yeah you can change email address by sign up this will associate your old account with new mail id but we know in past many combatants have lost their ids so please stay away. If your old and new one is iPhone yes you can use same id to open your game but iPhone to android or android to iPhone is not possible.
