That's a good way. I do mine by stuffing them inside a smooth zip bag with a shoe tree still on them. I also add a couple of silicon gel to prevent moisture.

I keep the original stuffing paper and shoe inserts to keep them safe. I also put them in the shoes after I wear them just to keep the original smell
