He pretends there was no other woman but the wife always knows because we know their pattern so its clear as day , to an outsider looking in..."oh not Him! he's the perfect husband." It's diabolical when you wont be honest and let closure occur but it doesn't matter because God Sees and some people can and do see right through him even though he doesnt realize it.
