I struggled for days trying to beat DMD Dante, and this man makes it look so easy
beating him its actually easy, what is hard is for it to look good, because you can just dodge everything and wait for dante to finish his attacks, but if you actually want it to look more 'cinematic' then yeah, it's way harder that way

Very late comment, but imagine your Dante the most dangerous devil hunter in your verse and you trying to eliminate your brother and the first thing you see him do is “DODGE YOUR CANNON BLAST, NOT JUST DODGING IT BUT DODGING INTO IT" I'd look at him in those “he's him" moments.

Hey guys can anyone tell me how do i block as vergil, tutorial says press shift but it doesn't work, any tips?
I think you need to have high concentration gauge for it to work properly. But I'd look up a guide on YT if u wanna know more about it

I’d highly suggest a controller. Devil May Cry gets complicated real quick, and using a spread out keyboard quickly becomes a joke.

Someone explain to me the true extent to both of there power, Ik there really fucking op, but how strong are they?
Both Dante and Vergil are more powerful than Sparda's last known appearance in the lore as of DMC5. Any real fight between them will effectively end in a draw, as Nero suspects they're much more likely to mutually kill each other, rather than one pulling out a victory over the other. So basically the brothers are the most powerful characters in the entire DMC series as of now.
The demon king mundus was capable of creating an entire universe. And in the Light Novel dmc volume 2 set before the second game, we get to see a rematch between an even stronger mundus and Dante. And mundus got absolutely stomped by base Dante who didn't even need DT, just his sword and pistols.
