As a father of a soon to be 12 year old girl, and as someone who had their own football career ended early due to injury, I can't help but feel gratitude, envy and pride every time I see you girls train and perform on the pitch! It took over a decade before I could even watch a match again and it was the previous tournament when I started watching with my daughter. I just wanted to say thank you for helping me to re-engage with the sport that I love and for inspiring girls in this country to push for greatness and showing them that anything is possible. Love you all, genuinely. 🏴❤
