@@TechnoBacon Well I was talking mostly about the beat used, and from going through the comments at the time I posted. I never seen anyone mention the fact that the beat sounds like he produced it like his old stuff.
When I heard this song, it gave me that old Eminem feeling, the chorus, his voice, the melody, everything. I fucking love it. I cant wait for his next album. This man is a god damn genius...hes been doing the under-expose technique with us during his career and its a very smart move. Even if he flooded us with music it would still all be amazing. Royce rhyming “orange” reminds me of that 60 Minutes interview Eminem did with Anderson Cooper in 2010. “People say that the word ‘orange’ doesn’t rhyme with anything, and that kind of pisses me off, because I can think of a lot of things that rhyme with orange […] If you enunciate it and make it more than one syllable - or-ange - you could say, like, ‘I put my or-ange four-inch door hinge in stor-age and ate por-ridge with Ge-orge.'” --Eminem on 60 Minutes
@anomie nous in this interview when he talks about rhymes he means similar sounds, he's not talking about conventionnal rhymes, it's a more specific figure of speech

The entire song is lowkey, a throwback at The Shining, the whole voices in his head, telling him to kill, slowly giving into them, is the same as what happened to Jack Torrance. The Redrum, backwards is Murder, and them wanting the crown on his head, are the spirits from the Movie, wanting Jack to become the next murderer, to kill his family.

I don't get why this song especially Eminem's last verse is not getting more attention? All the people over the years were whining and begging for the old "hard" Eminem and that verse was absolutely fucking bonkers in terms of energy, rhyming and disses. I'd say it is almost at the same level of till I collapse and bad guy 4th verse in terms of goosebumps and overall energy
@@TallBaldGenius89I think in the end it’s all down to personal opinion, I love most of the songs on the mtbmb albums but most em fans are still hung up on Eminem from 20 years ago rapping about his mother lol😂
This project is easily top 2-3 Eminem releases. The collaborations and beat selection alone puts this in a top contender. Had he approached his earlier career with this same approach, there would literally be no naysayers. To create this so late in his career is a testament to how much effort and practice he put in prior to this moment.

I love his goofy shit, as long as he still kills that shit.

@anomie nous door hinge though? say it fast orange door hinge but like purple doesn't have a rhyme at all.
@anomie nous in this interview when he talks about rhymes he means similar sounds, he's not talking about conventionnal rhymes, it's a more specific figure of speech
*purple = turtle that's it*
Right tho! Then em started going in bout the old rap scene im like this kid is still a kid! He got more energy than anyone in the game! Dude will murder any beat!

The wordplay, and double and triple entendres! 🤯🤯

LITERALLY THE LITEST SONGGG FROM THE ALBUM, UNDERRATED AS HELL.
The hook tho! Been ringing in my head since MTBMB dropped till now
"Got a crown of thorns but it won't fit around my horns" Is one of the coldest rhymes EVER.

I have to admit, the more times you listen to this album how better it gets
Yep!
It's true. I didn't like it at first, but listened to it a few more times and it became one of my favorites!
Didn’t think of that besides the RedRum part, but it def fits. Remember the kids in hallway with the tricycle lol
def shinin ;)

When Em said “god bless the dead, let biggie posses the pencil lead” shits fire🔥🔥
rouyce is a legend for real
Siham Shokor the unspoken hero of this album 👌🏾👌🏾.
Too bad Eminem fans give him no album sales and attention. They always ask about bad meets evil 2 and the 1st one only sold cause of Eminem.
wiseguy 26 exactly...it’s alot of crazy ass stans our here
Royce has been hella consistent since like 2014, a project nearly every year, his last 3 albums are classic idc what anyone says
The fact that eminem doesnt even promotes his albums yet he sells millions in the first week and worldwide he sold over 500 million copies of all albums altogether hes a fucking legend a true icon the king of hip hop
We love you Eminem the rap god
Who the fuck is the king of hip hop - Eminem
That Guilty Conscience reference was so unnecessarily hard!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I don't get why this song especially Eminem's last verse is not getting more attention? All the people over the years were whining and begging for the old "hard" Eminem and that verse was absolutely fucking bonkers in terms of energy, rhyming and disses. I'd say it is almost at the same level of till I collapse and bad guy 4th verse in terms of goosebumps and overall energy
I walked out the room screaming when I first heard this
Yup
EXACTLY!
@@darrel6724 me too! I woke up the house when the I first heard this song

Why be a king, when you can be a god?
Royce and em always bring out the best in each other. Praying for a new bad meets evil album.
crook was wild too
It’s a sad shame that no one sees how good this music is
Its multi-platinum so I think they know was number 1 on billboard and went number 1 in at least 13 countries
The people around you are probably Eminem haters. Most people love Em.
@@TallBaldGenius89I think in the end it’s all down to personal opinion, I love most of the songs on the mtbmb albums but most em fans are still hung up on Eminem from 20 years ago rapping about his mother lol😂

We want the Old Eminem!
Eminem: Here you have
he is the old Eminem. He is almost 50. I am 41 and damn he is Prime.
Most underrated out of all of the songs on the album
This project is easily top 2-3 Eminem releases. The collaborations and beat selection alone puts this in a top contender. Had he approached his earlier career with this same approach, there would literally be no naysayers. To create this so late in his career is a testament to how much effort and practice he put in prior to this moment.

In my opinion one of the most powerful Rap songs in history.
“Got a crown of thorns, but it won’t fit around the horns.”= They’re trying to crucify me but they can’t, cuz I’m the GOAT

Nastiest song on music to be murdered by. Which is saying something cuz that album is fire.
Phew. This album its sound and rap design is like a blast from the past trough an up to date incarnation, a nostalgic sensation, it just snaps my brain in line.
Eminem is definition of rap
I thought I heard a voice in my head that said, "Kill"

My pencil full of poisonous lead, the devil
He wants me to murder this beat, so I will
He told me there are doubters who question my skill

@Troll For real. It's constructed perfectly.
yes thats what eminem said
Perfect. Lyricism at its best.
It's very hot....
yea this hook is crazy
Yall know that meme of Squidward looking out his window watching Spongebob and Patrick playing outside?.... That's Joe Budden watching Slaughterhouse on this song
This song is so underrated, it's a classic imo
Forever on repeat ❤
It's sad to think eminem still has to prove himself. Them Haters deaf
Yes. All that mumble rap shit has made them go deaf.
That's my biggest question mark about Em. Everyone knows he's the best, while he acts like he doesn't realize that fact himself and has to repeat it all over.
Its more sad that people thinking he needs to prove himself as far as hearing eminem he knows he doesent but he has to always try and better himself
I KNOW RIGHT!!!!!
@@aglet4778 he knows he see the comments
This song is one of the meanest em tracks ever, not one rapper missed and the hook is hard as shiet
Eminem has a third degree black belt in vocabulary and a ph.d in lyrics.
No jokes this is one of the greatest rap songs made in the last few years
Just the metaphors alone in this joint are off the chain, and the beat just SEALS IT.
Remember? My metaphors are so complicated it takes 6 minutes to get applause. ;)
This is one of those rare Eminem songs where you don’t just skip to Em’s verse because every verse is straight fire.
That last part of the 3rd verse, that mental image he introduce into you with his narrative and his rhyme scheme (the clinic, the 40 torsos). Just sick man, i love it
