Looks great, would keep any lady happy, from 5 to 95! Good idea using plywood, aside from cost cutting it adds to the aesthetics of the overall look having two tones and character. Cheers Sean
Good video. I made one thanks to you. First ever. Only have had my band saw for two weeks. Old Craftsman late 70's model. I don't know how to post a pic of it though for you to see it.
Owl tell you what, that was a lot of sanding lol. You sir need a spindle sander. They are easy to make for a drill or drill press, if you don’t want to go get one. Look up Izzy’s video it’s a good method of making one.
I actually have a spindle sander. I even used it in this video. Unfortunately on the ears I drew up a weird angle that was flat in spots and curved on others. The spindle would’ve scooped it out too much. Thanks for checking it out!
@@charleslawrence2137 Thank you so much. I thought that it would which is great. Seen it used to often but no idea how to get some as I didn't know what it is called.
Who, who would have thought this would be so cool?!
The necklace going into the box at the end was very Frank Howarth esque. Nice job for your first bandsaw box build!
Thank you, Jason!

Thank you, Adikins!
Jonny!!! Felicitaciones!!! Pregunta! De que diametro el la hoja que utilizas para los cortes interiores?
Very cool. I need a bigger bandsaw so I can try these.
Thanks, Phillip! These are surprisingly easy to build. Definitely give it a go.
Nice job! Any chance you will share your template?
@JonnyBuilds very cute

Great bandsaw box. I've been looking to make an owl box. Could you provide the template for the owl?
If that's your first box, I think you did an excellent job!!!
Thanks, I appreciate that! Definitely things to improve upon, but I was happy with the results.
I like your owl very much. Do have a template for this box?
Best regards from Germany,
Volker
That looks amazing really good job.
Cheers
Tim from wood 4 nothing
Thanks so much, Tim!
Wow for your first attempt brilliant
Whats that black powder and what does it do? Great box btw.
It’s called flocking which when dry gives a velvet feel to the surface it’s on.
