5-7 sec early and 2-3m from the spot won't win. Still depends on how low you shutoff the motor. 10m lower than the competition will make up for some mistakes, but why throw the landing points away? 2 sec early and 1/2m should be the goal during practice. Still, a nice job if you're consistently getting your time.
