Mcdelivery in Korea!?! AND Mcdonald's Secret Menu?!

- Hello!! This week, after learning to dance a bit, and doing lots of exercise, we went back to the hotel where we had planned a little surprise for Rev. Chris. Father Chris has always been a bit of a secret fan of Mcdonald’s, and there’s something that a lot of people don’t know about Korean Mcdonald’s: they deliver. And not only do they deliver, but they have a secret hidden menu that I haven’t seen anywhere else before!! So of course, after a long day of being healthy, we sat down to rest at our hotel and ordered one of the least healthy things we could :D
THIS IS NOT AN ADVERT FOR MCDONALD’S!!
Haha Seriously though, don’t eat Mcdonald’s. I don’t recommend it. That said I’m glad we got to show Chris this unique Mcdonald's experience in Korea, and show him the extent and variety of delivery food culture Korea!
안녕하세요! 이번에는 우리 춤 좀 배우고, 운동을 많이 하고 호텔에 돌아갔는데 크리스 신부님한테 보여주고싶은것 있었어요. 크리스신부님이 오래전부터 맥도날드를 완전 좋아했는데, 영국에서는 맥도날드 배달 안해요. 한국사람들이 이거 아는지 모르겠지만, 유럽이나 미국에서는 맥도날드 배달 아예 안하니까 한국에 처음 오는 외국인들이 맥도날드 배달 처음 볼때 엄청 놀래요 ㅋㅋㅋ 한국은 역시 배달의 천국이지!!!
그래서 크리스신부님과 호텔에서 한국의 맥도날드 시크릿 메뉴로 시켜먹기로했죠 ㅎㅎㅎ 맥도날드 광고 아닙니다!!!! ㅋㅋㅋ 저는 개인적으로 맥도날드 별로 안좋아하고, 건강에 안좋은거니까 저는 사실 1년에 1번정도?! 밖에 안먹고, 먹고난뒤에 후회도 하고 그래요 ㅋㅋㅋ 맥도날드 먹지마세요 ;;
그냥 크리스 신부님은 개인적으로 맥도날드 매니안데, 한국 까지 와서 한국의 특별한 시크릿 메뉴 배달 되는 맥도날드로 안먹을순 없었죠!!

Emma S in Scotland McDonald and MacDonald are pronounced the same. Mc is just an abbreviation of Mac. Rev. Chris probably says it that way because he has Irish/Gaelic ancestry.
seems like it's more that he's stressing the 1st syllable rather than the 2nd, making the "mack" more pronounced then the elided "mick" (as in the ethnic designation). not sure it is entirely an Irish Gaelic distinction, as my family from Mayo stress the 2nd - although certainly can have regional and personal differences
I don't know why it just made me laugh that Rev. Chris was so excited about a double quarter pounder because that's just a normal menu item in America.

정확하게 집은게 더 이전에 한국 맥도날드에 쓰이던 캐첩은 하인즈꺼였는데 저 맥도날드 마크 달린 포장으로 바뀌면서부터 오뚜기꺼를 사용하기 시작했고 캐첩이 더 묽어졌습니다.
냥프시롤 하인즈가 중국산이여서 불매운동 생기는 바람에 오뚜기로 다 바꿨죠
중국불매보단 예전에 역사 시비때문에
동북공정이였나 이거때문에 중국에대한 적대심이 진짜 하늘을찌를때 있었음
당시 사극도 다 중국토벌하는 역사 다루는 사극도엄청 나왔고 그 대표가 주몽임
아마 지금 일본불매 정도는 아니지만
약간의 중국불매 비슷하게 있었을꺼라고 생각함

맥날 : 페이스트 함량 35% 맛 자체는 일반적이나 농도가 많이 옅음 (오뚜기) 별점 2개
버거킹 : 페이스트 함량 33% 농도는 맥날과 비슷한 정도이나 조금더 단맛이 돔(오뚜기) 별점 2개 반
롯데리아 : 페이스트 함량 43% 개인적으로 음식에 곁들여 먹는정도로는 적절한 농도인거 같고
하인즈보다 신맛이 적고 단맛이 좀더 있어서 감자튀김과 가장 잘 어울렸다 (롯데식품) 별점 4개 반
하인즈 마트용 : 페이스트 함량 65% 농도는 가장 높으나 신맛이 좀 강하고 롯데리아캐쳡을 먼저 맛본후라 그런지
감자튀김과 그닥 매칭이 좋진 않다는 느낌 별점 3개 반
별점은 지극히 주관적입니다

It’s so crazy Fillet-oh-fish burger is one of my favorites! 😅 In school on fish day we had those square fish patties but they’d be hard sometimes and McDonalds always makes them soft. 💕
I like that best too and not any of the burgers. I usually have to scrape off some of the tartar sauce as they always slather it on though.
As someone who worked at 3 different McDonalds, I used to hate the Fillet-Oh-Fish when Lent came around. because almost every Christian/Catholic in those places thought Lent meant giving up meat and all of them would order Fillet-Oh-Fish. 40 days of cooking almost nothing but fish will kind of make you hate fish for a while.

맥도날드 원래 하인즈케찹이었는데 경쟁사인 버거킹 ceo가 하인즈ceo가 되고 나서 계약을 안하기로 했대요 ! 근데 글로벌!!!!본사에서 결정한일이라던데 영국은 하인즈로 하네요 전 전세계 다 납품 안하는줄.. 케첩바뀔때 맥도날드다니던사람들은 되게 아쉬워했었어요... 하인즈가 맛있다고.!

I'm a canadian who worked at mcdonald's there for 5 years as a teen (years ago lol) and now live in Japan and they have different ketchup (canada also uses Heinz) which I didnt like at first, but now I love as it's just a tad sweet ? and fits the salty fries very nicely. Also ALL the seasonal Mcdonald's items here are BOMB like the Tsukimi burger (with an egg inside for moon viewing festival, the yoke is the moon) the tsukimi pie (mochi (rice cake) and red bean sweet paste inside a fried pie, the shaka chicken (shake chicken with flavored powders you shake in a bag), the melon soda, their nugget sauces (camembert, sour cream & onion, spicy, we had so many different ones this year) .... Damn I'm a fast food b*tch lmaoo
