As someone who has just passed 10 months no alcohol, I love learning about this sort of thing. It's crazy how alcoholism permeates our cultures across the world.

Like we know disturbingly many mothers who decided to stop breastfeeding their children earlier than adviced just because they missed their evening wine... and they are normal, well educated women. Even at family gatherings we need to explain repeatedly year by year why we don't want to drink. People would even accuse us for being rude by rejecting their "welcome" shot of vodka or whatever it is. They are so emotional and offended just because someone wouldn't drink, even though we don't at all judge them, we just want to ignore the alcohol in general and proceed to juice or coffee or tea or plain water :D

Anyway, I think this song is hilariously showing the foolishness of the lies that we tell ourselves despite the obvious and bringing awareness of it. I think several of their songs are this way. Kind of like teaching the culture while you dance to their grove. I don’t care of some of their songs and think they take it too far on those and restricts their audience because of it. However, I think they are master craft in all the elements they present. Could watch or hear it 50 times and pick up something new I didn’t catch before. Introduction of odd sounds into songs that flow flawlessly or maybe intentionally flawed. Her and his voice playing off of each other, plus the random pop in voices. Visional. Playing off of old famous styles or scenes. On and on. They are clearly having fun and playing. But I bet they are working their tales off to make it flow seemingly effortlessly. There is a prevalent toxic alcohol consumption and masculinity culture present in Russia (not just Russia, I'm not trying to point my finger at one party and deny the faults of others). A very significant part of each of it (both of them are closely intertwined) is denial. Of the actual problem, of the issues causing them, of any kind of weakness and lack of control etc. Of course, alcoholism could also affect women, they are not excluded from this video, and it could take many forms and have different causes. On the surface you have a fun and goofy slapstick video about drinking and drunkenness fails, but underneath you get a commentary about how many different people with various issues try to deafen their various frustrations with alcohol. As to the next Little Big video you are apparently going to react to, I know it's Skibidi (romantic version). But this time I'd really recommend watching the original Skibidi and then the romantic one. It would really make more sense considering the context and a few references. Last but not least: have I already said your stuff makes my day everytime? Thank you so much for being so much fun. I could honestly say your reaction videos contribute hugely to me not having to drown my sorrows in alcohol.
