The street where there are colorful houses and the band Olodum, is in Salvador-BA in the Northeast of Brazil, the street called Pelourinho is a tourist street for its history and culture, and even today there is a house with a picture of Michael on the balcony , same house that appears in the video. This song was very controversial when it was released. In fact, there was so much outrage about one of the lyrics , “jew me” , that Michael was accused of being anti-Semitic and his record company pulled every copy of the CD from store shelves, and it was re-released with the lyrics beeped out. I have one of the original versions of the CD . Y’all should also give a listen to the Charles Rhone full joint remix to the song. It’s 🔥🔥🔥
