- I had to switch back to my Tanfo 2 days before the match as I started having some problems with my Alien (couldn’t risk it for Nationals) it felt weird as I got so much comfortable with the Alien (I’ll find the issue and I’ll be back with it as I really enjoy it!)
Thank you for the match crew, this match ran so smoothly! It felt good to be back with a National after 2 years without one.

Good shooting man. Any range in Ontario that offers tactical shooting ?
A lot of ranges in Ontario have practical shooting competitions! Especially in the GTA
If you’re looking for specific tactical courses, there are some but I don’t know them on top of my head

What issues did you have with the Alien?
Some failure to extract
I’m checking with Laugo on resolving this issue, it’s a learning curve as it is simply different from most other plateforms
@@AlexandreBerdat Mine is failure to always cycle fully - could be the gas piston and spring assembly - I have spare parts but haven’t spent the time during match season to work on it - I had a lot of rounds thru it without competing with it yet so hopefully I can figure it out and test it in a match - shot amazingly well when it was running
@@stovepipe8966 I think we have the same problem, I’ll be testing some things and hopefully get it sorted, because it is such a fun pistol to shoot, it’s damn accurate!

I have an alien also. I feel like the gas piston chamber gets carboned up and if not cleaned really well can cause my slide to jam up. Otherwise shoots extremely well. I’ve been letting the carbon cleaner solution soak for awhile in the chamber and then running the cleaning tool in it. I just tested it with about 150 rounds and no problems so far.hope that helps
