Could you use this method like this to reverse a cell hijacking or jailbreak?
Because someone managed to remotely turn my device into a paperweight basically and I don’t have money to replace this phone and it’s not even fully paid off yet and my provider won’t do anything to help me. Neither will Apple have no idea how this happens, but there needs to be better protection because I’ve been wondering why I’m not getting any calls back , I’m truly wondering who I talk to everywhere I’ve been getting the same people where it’s rather frustrating.

Mine said eligible for unlock then i put in my info and it just keeps spinning me back to the check if im eligible part. doesnt give me a code or say that anyone on their end is going to unlock it. any idea whats going on in my case? I did do the unlock request with a sim thats already activated from one of those vortex tablets that come with a year of service but I don't see why it would matter. both the tcl a3 i bought and the vortex tablet came from different people too and the tcl is a $40 walmart TracFone and the vortex is who knows what service provider,i bought that strictly to use on wifi. thanks

Maybe if you are unlocking a phone that you never used (because it has no assigned number) you are supposed to root it. Rooting refers to a programming type thing that gives you root access (and now you can do software updates you never though possible)

For real? The codes are generated using your IMEI number which is unique, the codes are unique, you can only use them once.

Because the codes are unique per IMEI, you can't reuse the codes.

Maybe try to do the unlock from a separate device, such as a tablet or computer. Even a friend's phone will work in a pinch. Just use another device to contact the company, while providing info from the device you wish to unlock
