I absolutely LOVE watching this ever-changing family! Peter is an expert at going with the flow. I also really love the complete lack of attention on differences or circumstances, but rather prioritizes mutual support & happiness. I've known kids that went through the foster system & could only DREAM of a foster home filled with such warmth & joy. ❤❤👏🏽👏🏽

Peter you need to get a set of measuring spoons. A table spoon is different than a teaspoon. I think your a great dad and these kids are really loved.

The recipes I grew up with always included "some" of this or that. Rarely very important, unless you're baking. Now that I'm passing down the recipes to my adult kids, they understand what I mean by "some" or "a pinch" or "a handful," etc. It all works out.

    Hi Peter!
This looks delicious. I love one pot meals. Thanks for sharing.
Peter, you should think about placing your new videos in the main area so people will know that s new video is available.
Then, place it in the playlist after a few weeks.
I think you will get more views that way.

Coming home to smells of food, stews or soup builds wonderful abundant childhood memories. You are a great dad Peter. Even if kids not like the food, the food scent is strong memory about someone caring for them.

For our tastebuds, we eliminate as much satlt as possible from most crockpot recipies. The tomatoes, tomato sauce, and broth are likely to have at lesst one teaspoon sslt each asx8tvstands before adding ypur own teaspoon from the salt canister.

In Canada we can get many things in a can unsalted. I cook mostly without salt because I know how to use spices to bring out flavours. Although it took me a long time to learn. Also the salt burns my lips and my tongue and sometimes gives me canker sores on my tongue. I don't like the flavour I want to taste the food not the salt.😊

    • @terryhenderson424

@personincognito3989 They ma,e unsalted canned items but ... Unsalted and reduced sodium items are becoming increasingly hard to find in all but the just expensive grocery stores. And, even so these were often $.05 to $.20 more per can pre-2020. Starting in Jan '24 and peaking in Jun '24 there was a lot of main stream media coverage about how grocery shoppers were seeking fewer options and the emotional stress of having to make decisions when facing a grocery shelf so the industry was responding by reducing the options. I very rarely see low and no sodium options any more but then, I am from a general area thst isn't as preventstkve, preventative, hes,th conscious and also don't shop the more expensive grocery stores.

Peter, your meal looks delicious and I love that adjusted the seasoning to fit your taste.
Peter, here are some tips from a train chef for the next time you cook/make this recipe again:
1, I love that you had every ingredient in the recipe out on the counter before you started cooking. Makes cooking go even faster. I'd like to add that you should also have all of the measuring cups and spoons right on the counter with you so that you're not running around. Measure of everything ahead of time and put them aside before you put them in the pot. You can put all of the dried ngredients in one container and then the wet in another. That way, if you accidently over pour or mistaken sugar for salt or vice versa, you're not ruining the whole pot. Getting in the habit of doing this makes it easier to cook with kids if they're around to cook with you.
By the way, that cup you used to measure out the broth/stock, is a 2 cups container. Next time, you can just fill it all the way to the top twice for a 4 cups recipe instead of half way 4 times.
2, rinse the chicken or any meat you buy under cold water before you use it. Put it in a bowl and then wash your hands with soap and water.
3, use vegan cheese and cream instead of dairy since you're lactose intolerant. I like to use a coconut based cream myself. They also have gluten free pastry since you're gluten intolerant as well.
4, use a measuring spoon since it seems like what you used was as large as a table spoon.
5, use wooden or metal spoon instead of the black plastic ones you have. When the food is hot, the plastic releases cancer causing and other carcinogens and chemicals into the food.

For next time, after you touch raw chicken especially or meat, you have to wash your hands with soap before touching other containers, etc. or else you could spread salmonella.

    hi Peter,
That was way too much too much pepper.
That was several tablespoons not teaspoons 😢
I hope it is not too hot for Bella & the children.
    Do you have measuring spoons?
    Dry measuring cups?
(they are stainless steel or plastic.)
    Liquid measuring cups?
(they are glass. You can get them at Walmart.)
    you’re doing good.

    WASH THE CHICKEN FIRST

  • @AnnaAnnaTT
    @AnnaAnnaTT 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

please FIRST saute and caramelize finely diced onions to improve flavour before you add any other ingredients. And as it is soup why not first slice the chicken breast into thin slices first?
Also adding some finely diced mixed vegetables (carrots, celery, finely diced red pepper, bits of cauliflower, sweetcorn and peas) plus some diced parsley and oregano will add flavour and be more healthy than SALT laden and SUGAR laden packets and tins of such stuff.
Too much sugar and salt - HIDDEN in so many tinned and packaged goods - that extra salt and sugar is not as healthy as freshly diced mixed vegetables in a soup.
