I found this out about Dennis while playing. Just hold the item and move your mouse around on him. That alone is enough to help get rid of him without throwing and running back to grab the item.
He’ll probably just keep jumping from game to game as he progresses. Let’s be real, without the update, there’s nothing to do in super market sim. This game will reach that point eventually too

I want it to be known that the creators of this game has a lot of other fun simulator games. My personal favorite is barn finders where you go around buying properties and reselling furniture and stuff. It’s such a great game. The dev’s are goofy but not overly goofy. It’s not too serious too. It’s just here for a fun time.
