- The Edmonton Glow Festival was an 'enlightening' experience and a great way to get into the Christmas / holiday spirit this year! I've never been to a 'glow festival' or 'glow garden' before, but as soon as I learned about the Edmonton Glow Festival 2019 at the Edmonton Exposition Center, I knew I had to visit.
Join Marti from 'Down the Wrabbit Hole Travel' as she and her kids explore each and every exhibit in the Edmonton Glow Festival. From light tunnels, to sparkling structures from around the world, to illuminated swings, this 'glow garden' has a ton to see and do. Not to mention, this is an Instagrammer's playground!

When I Saw Glow in Edmonton I was Amazed at the Displays and Other Citys in Canada have this Event too and I liked this Better then Haveing to look at Light Displays in a Car. This was my very first time at glow. It was fun to have this indoors and it's for Everyone from Kids to Seniors. Whoever thought of this thing was amazing. Millions to Zillions of Lights I could count inside. The light maze or cavern was fun and glow Hopscotch and I did try the glow swing that Changed Color. I also saw a A capella choir on stage too singing Traditional or Contemporary Carols
I'm glad you had a chance to see the Glow Festival! They did such a fantastic job putting it together - everyone should try and get out to see it before it is over on January 4. :)
Omg, beautiful light so amazing, love the lights decoration, its like a fairy tail story.
It was - I wish my husband had been able to come along with us as we could have had a few romantic photographs together.

What a neat experience with different countries! The displays are beautiful and elaborate! I would enjoy just walking around.
I think we spent two and a half hours in there, and I could have stayed longer if it hadn't been past the kids bedtime. It was such a beautiful exhibition. :)

There were even groups of teenagers wandering around having a good time - it was just a fun atmosphere and so festive! :) Cinderella loved my daughter's glowing dress; she thought it was very appropriate! LOL

That's a great idea. A world tour of lights. I don't know if I will be able to get out to any of the light shows around here, so it's nice to see one this nice. Indoors no less.
I LOVED that it was indoors. I didn't know it was, so my kids and I all dressed warm and packed ski pants and mittens and such. And then I was so relieved that it was inside! LOL

The light frames were a brilliant idea (ha ha, brilliant...) I wish my husband had been there with us, since those would have made really awesome family portraits for future holiday cards.

Having a country theme with a passport is a terrific idea! Very creative! There was a light show near me that I went to for the first time this year. It wasn't anything like this. It was more projection lights on buildings. There's no doubt the kids loved that last part! I'm sure they had a blast! I think I liked the China one the best, but they were all good!
I think the kids wouldn't have let me fully explore the displays without that passport gimmick. It was super clever and got the little ones invested in searching every avenue of the festival. Whoever designed that was genius! :)

The glow tunnels were cool, but what really got me was that light maze with the giant hanging light bars. It was so cool - I could have played around in there all night! LOL

I should have filmed the drink cups they had - they were shaped like Christmas light bulbs and glowed from the inside. But they were like, $30 a drink. LOL

The light maze was my favourite! Probably not the greatest if you suffered from epilepsy or something where flashing lights triggers a response, but otherwise, I thought it was fantastic! :)

I thought at first it was outside, so the kids and I had ski pants and mittens and the whole lot with us. And then I had to carry it all around because it was inside... but I wasn't complaining! LOL
Amazing, this event must have taken a lot of creative people and organizers to put it together, they sure did a fantastic job, happy holidays, by the way your children are so adorable.
It would have taken a TON of time and effort to set up, but so worth it! It was magical! :)

The kids loved the passport idea - it totally kept them engaged and allowed me the ability to really explore the exhibits without them begging to leave to go to the train or the play area the whole time. :)

I think my favorite are of Glow Festival was the MEXICO area !!!!!!!!!!
I really liked the area with all the lights hanging down, like a maze, but I don't think that part was tied to any specific country. Mexico did have some amazing displays, I agree with you there! :)
