Your talk was extremely inspiring. There is very little i would disagree with. I can say regarding Leo Strauss, though, that my dissertation advisor at Harvard, Muhsin Mahdi, back in the 80s, was a student of Strauss, and not a Zionist. My own study of Strauss over 4 decades has not led me to have any Zionist sympathies, either. An interesting thing about them is that they almost seemed to be attached to rejection by their people (35:4). Sometimes these guys are not lone messengers as seen in their trials (36:13-32).
