I saw this movie about 2 times. This last time I saw it, I think the end should have been .... Well if I tell you and you haven't seen the movie then stop reading here if you don't want any surprises because I have my spoiler opinion . I say he was happy to have his baby. She was normal and it took him and Dazzy a long while to. get together and catch up to each other. I think they should have gotten married and stayed together. They both knew the deal and I don't like how he bailed out. It could have been his mind but still I wish Dazzy would have pushed him to stay because the sistuation they all needed each other. So I say when he was happy about the baby then he should have stayed and toughed it out. I say the daughter would have gotten used to who he was. He shouldn't have just assumed things wouldn't work out because when he left for all of that time and his wishes he gave his daughter each year of her birthdays, he could have been with her, until that point he looked when he finally came back. He was still old enough to be able to love her as his daughter. So that kinda ruined her life all of that lost time he could have spent with her, and Dazzy as long as it took them to get together. Reminds me of the time Forest Gump could of had with Jenny, in " Forest Gump" That would have made more sense. Either the child would have naturally saw he looked younger but still loved him for who he was. Dazzy might have changed. But you see when he came back, for the last time, she still had feelings for him. Right there the child would have felt closer to him because they seemed like the same age range. She would get older, because where was she when he started looking like a younger kid, and her father that married her mom died? Plus what happened to his sister? We heard about everybody but those two at the end. Only his daughter should have looked older. I say he was looking like a toddler when the daughter looked like she did in the movie. But it should have been the daughter who by all of that time knew her dad was growing younger, she should have taken care of him, because Dazzy would have been way too old for real. Still he just bounced. Plus the man that got struct by the lightening, I thought they would show all 7 times where something would happen in the end where he dodged it the 8th time. IDK maybe I need to see it a third time because I didn't see his adopted mother's daughter grow into a grown person, they stopped showing both his daughter and her's around the same ages. Maybe the plot wouldn't have came out the same. Since it was a movie and probably not a true story, something had to turn out like it was only a movie. It was still a fabulous film, just to think something like that could happen. Like Mork from Ork was simular to that where Robin William's character grew backwards and to Mindy he was like her age but really he was a child and those kids are born in a big egg like when they had a son and Jonathan Winters was their child. Enjoy the movie if you see it. You'll want to see it again. I know I explained a lot here. But I'm a movie buff. Lol 2022 peace and Love.
