The reason why they prefer holding a mic rather than a headset is because there has been several technical issues during their previous performances when it comes to the mic malfunctioning so therefore they learn their lessons and they prefer to pass the mic to the person who needs it when one member or any member have a mic malfunction.

As a singer myself I think the reason Filipinos generally usually use handheld mic is because you can control the mic most especially when singing high notes.

After that, seems as though they swore off using them again. The issue was bad - could have really stalled their careers. Since then, hand-held mics are staples and almost part of their brand.

The Moonlight MV, BTS of the MV, Dance practice and lastly, the BTS of the dance practice. You'll love them all since they really give you different perspectives of how everything was put together. The camera man for the dance practice was actually Jay Joseph, their in house Choreographer for their company 1Z Entertainment. It was filmed in their new studio! As for the Mics, I think it's their personal choice rather than headset mics. I've only seen them use headsets in one concert.

It's weird and quirky but I believe the choreo is lit and difficult to pull through without skills, control and discipline. The whole One Zone fan meet performance for me was their most intense performance for Gento, I Want You and Crimzone with solos and subunits bits before I Want You. Hope you can react to those, too.❤
Most if not all ppop groups dont use such mic bcos filipinos r critical w/ live vocals. This is also good as u can see who's singing at the moment, hence hand mic is the standard. They consider singing live w/ hand mic in every choreo, so there needs to be balance between vocals & choreo. It cannot be as polished as other pop groups, but the experience of a live performance is satisfying.
