On this video, I visited Apex Studios which is a student accommodation that is opening next year (2023) in Joburg, Braamfontein. I decided to just give you guys a little view of the place in case you are looking for res in 2023.🔥
This Student accomodation is at the doorstep of Wits University, with grocery stores and restaurants (e.g PicknPay, McDonalds) in the same street.
NB: IT HAS COME TO MY ATTENTION(After posting this video) THAT THE ROOM RATES ARE NOT THE SAME AS THEY ARE ON THE HOME PAGE OF THE WEBSITE WHEN APPLYING, PLEASE EXCUSE THE PRICES ON THIS VIDEO. APOLOGIES🙏🏽

Is it noisy around the area?

Not really. But I guess it will depend on the time of the day

@@yowmike_ which is better to live in, Apex or Campus Central

@@cloudibirde budget wise, Apex is better but there's quite a number of inconveniences because the building has more than 800 students (this also impacts the noise level). Campus Central is on the outer part of the city therefore noise levels are very low and it doesn't have over 800 students. Campus Central also has a less than 2 minute-loadshedding backup, which makes it better too.
E.g. Apex has a limited number of times to do laundry(I think they only give you 3 laundry tokens per month, then if they run out you will handwash), whereas Campus Central has an unlimited use of laundry machines which is very convenient in terms of emergencies.
In my experience, I would recommend Campus Central

Apex is also convenient as an off-campus accommodation because you get to experience most student life activities (which is fun) compared to Campus Central.
