I was wrapped up in doubt about what to do and I felt so paralysed in life. But when you constrasted risk takers with risk averse mindsets, it cleared up my fear. And when you mentioned that decisions are best driven by dreams than fear, it made me feel I can now choose what I want and need. And when you said that patience is preparing internally for the opportune moment for external action, it completely reassured me that all is well as long as I'm preparing. Thank you.

the real cost of living is the decision to venture into the unknown, less determined by fears and more driven by the optimism of attaining the dream. Felt like the entire talk was a genuine conversation shedding light on the inhibitions that hold us back to live upto our true potentiality.

    Hare Krishna
For a devotee who understands the true goal of human life, this lecture is super inspiring.
But for a non-devotee who thinks himself to be the body, this lecture can be misleading ( open a start-up, become a billionaire etc.)
But Maharaj's lectures will always be my favorite!

In a viral TH-cam video, a man called Amogh Lila associated with controversial organisation called ISKCON is seen attempting to insult Sri Ramkrishna Paramhansa and Swami Vivekananda. He is misinterpreting Sri Ramkrishna's statement "Jato Mat Tato Path" in a highly derogatory manner. He is also misquoting Swami Vivekananda on Tulasi Mata and Srimad Bhagvat Gita, quoting his statements without the context. Needless to say that Shallow and publicty hungry individuals like Amogh Lila cannot succeed in insulting the revered figures, saints, and sages of Sanatan Dharma, no matter how hard they try. However, in the process of doing so, Amogh Lila has unintentionally exposed the toxic and odious agenda of the organization to which he belongs. This has made it abundantly clear that followers of Sanatan Dharma should distance themselves from him and his organisation.
Whosoever has delved into the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda understands the profound message behind "jato mat tato path" - "As many faiths, so many paths." This principle embodies the essence of religious pluralism and universal acceptance. Sri Ramakrishna emphasized that all religions are different ways to reach the Divine, and no single path can claim exclusivity over the ultimate truth.
Swami Vivekananda echoed this timeless wisdom during his historic speech in Chicago, USA, where he addressed the World's Parliament of Religions. Quoting a verse from the Shiva Mahimna Stotram, he beautifully illustrated the concept of unity among diverse paths leading to the same ultimate reality or the Divine: "यथा नद्यः स्यन्दमानाः सागरं एवार्णवं अन्तर्गताः। तथा वैष्णवानां लोके गुरुरेवाभिगच्छति॥" Just as all the rivers, flowing through different paths, ultimately merge into the vast ocean, so too do people from various spiritual traditions ultimately reach the same Divine goal.
Amogh Lila has quoted "jato mat tato path" ridiculing Bangla pronunciation as if some physical destination on Google map is being talked about. It is essential to remember the true meaning and intent behind this profound spiritual principle. "Jato mat tato path" translates to "As many faiths, so many paths," and it symbolizes the concept of religious pluralism and universal acceptance.
The teaching implies that different religions and spiritual paths are diverse but ultimately lead to the same Divine truth. It encourages us to embrace the richness of various belief systems and recognize the unity that underlies their diversity. Rather than focusing on individuals, it is more valuable to reflect on the wisdom and significance of these teachings in fostering mutual respect, understanding, and harmony among people of different faiths.
However, it's essential to remain cautious of those who may misinterpret or misrepresent these teachings for their personal agendas. True spiritual guides do not promote deceit or hidden motives. Instead, they encourage genuine understanding, compassion, and respect among all individuals regardless of their religious affiliations.
Let us remember the profound wisdom of Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda, embracing the principle of unity in diversity and fostering an environment of genuine love and harmony among all humankind.
