I started doing this a while ago and unfortunately, I lost all the inspiration I had. That's why the story doesn't really make sense anymore and the ending is the way it is because the story is not finished.
This video is dedicated to one of my favourite editors here who is, for that matter, the Queen of AU. You are the one who introduced me to this ship and I definitely fell in love with it. That's why this is for you! (Go and subscribe to her channel right now!):

STORY: (Everything was supposed to be shown but it's not bc I couldn't make myself to do it due to the loss of inspiration)
Barry and Caroline are best friends since childhood. Barry in his early life looses his mom, and later his father. The death of his father was the breaking point for him and he leaves the city. While he's gone, Caroline's mother dies but Barry never shows up and Caroline's has to face it alone. Caroline confronts Barry and it results in the end of their friendship. Three months pass and Joe (Barry's step-father) tells Barry to worry about things that still can be fixed. He calls Caroline but he's too afraid to say something. Then, Caroline is in an accident and Barry is afraid that he's going to loose the last person that he cares for. Caroline wakes up and forgives Barry.
