Hey this was great! I am actually in a similar situation where I am a senior Biology major and going straigth into my MS in Business Analytics with a Data Science concentration. Seeing this gives me so much motivation

Great episode. Definitely cool to see someone transition in a health related field/degree to tech. Does she happen to have a LinkedIn or any social media that we could follow, if she doesn't mind to ask her any questions?

I feel that… Things were a lot easier before. But it’s not too late.

i am an IT major, i hear a lot of people are doing Information Systems tho... whats the difference? should i switch?

    • @pushtoprod

I usually see information system as a business degree. IT on the other hand is usually Science and a usually slightly more challenging to get but I feel is more valuable if going into the tech field.
Do they offer cloud courses now?

      @@pushtoprod in my school, no.
but i did start this "Ultimate AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate SAA-C03" course on udemy
im thinking about focusing on cloud, but still not sure yet.

Hey push! Thank you for your videos man.
I had a question for you, I have trouble finding advice in the networking space. But I recently passed my ccna last week, have about 5 years of desktop support experience and I aspire to be a network engineer. I’ve been applying to nocs to get in the door and I got an offer for an overnight shift.
I wanted your opinion if you think there are opportunities for day shift positions coming in with no experience.
Also do you think I will gain more experience on days vs overnights?
I’ll take an overnight shift if I have to. But not certain on what options I have.

I would take it. This would allow you to gain some really good real world experience (depending on the work) and beef up your resume.
This doesn’t mean stop applying. Keep looking for a “better” position and if one comes up, great but in this current job market I can’t recommend someone pass an opportunity.
