I got the Play Arts Kai Tifa too because I thought the face looked pretty good - better than the static arts and later Play Arts figures but I think the Bring Arts is probably the best looking in terms of being accurate to Nomura's design. The prize figure of her doing the Flurry is the exception as that seems to be the GOAT!
nice man, i got all them aswell + the Advent Children and Crisis Core lines. it took me around 2 years to track them down at the lowest prices possible on ebay and i love them all dearly.

Yeah the Play Arts were definitely okay for the time. I got a couple of the FFXII ones. They're very stiff, and I was always afraid to even attempt to pose them because they felt very fragile. The weapon that went with the Vaan one I have literally shattered into multiple pieces.
absolutely fantastic collection! I remember owning that Vincent Play Arts as well as the First Cloud. Very nice figures. Do you happen to have a shrine/collection of Zack as well? he´s my favorite character and that would be nice to see. Keep it up!
I REALLY want nice 1/4 or larger resin statues of at least the entire main cast of FF7, preferably based off the original art, not remake, but swappable parts would be nice. I thought prime1 would've done it by now, but I guess I'll need to wait for unlicensed studios to make more than just Tifa and Sephiroth.
I personally hope they make a static version of these. I prefer not to have the visible articulation. I have the mini poly ones and I really like those
I agree with you, the joints make them look like awkward robots. 😅 I would absolutely *love* it if they made static figures of the battle versions of their low poly models.
i don't really pay much attention to the characters proportions but i don't get why they got rid of aerith's curves in the remake. they made her so skinny for some reason when in previous compilations they always portrayed her as rather curvy. she's still pretty though.
I think they wanted it to be a cuter girl next door style look, which fits her personality I think. Also her game model wasn't really that curvy either, mostly just Nomuras original illustration.
44 Cloud figs??? If I may ask, how many of them are the Advent Children version of Cloud?? Of your Advent Children versions of Cloud, which is the best in your opinion? (Not static, but pose-able action figure) Also, did they ever release a 1/12 scale version??
I don't actually collect Advent Children figures, so none. 😁 But based on what I have seen during my years of collecting, the best one is probably the "Play Arts Kai Cloud Strife (Advent Children ver.)". I don't think any of the AC figures are 1/12 scale. The closest thing to that scale is probably what's called the "Advent Children - Cloud Strife - Play Arts Action Figure", but it is a bit bigger. Hope this helps! 😀 I believe the new Bring Arts figures are close to 1/12 scale, but those are based on the original. It just so happens that I'm releasing an unboxing video of Cloud from that line tomorrow. 🤩
Sadly, no. There are relatively few Barret figures, espacially compared to Cloud, Sephiroth & Tifa. No Cid either. Out of all of the main characters, Cid is the one that is the least represented in merch. Only 3 Cid figures in my entire collection, the biggest of which is a keychain from 1997.

If you mean the big one, that's a Static Arts from 2009. 😁 The smaller one that also has a flame base is a Static Arts Bust from 2017. 🔥

Cloud, red13 and yuffie have yet to be topped yet. I personally think vol1 playarts cloud is the best you will get. The bring arts one is mid.
