I don’t know why people are hating on this song! I am smart enough to know that not ALL rappers represent the meaning of the song, but TOO many do! I love this message! Loved the words that Dax sung! POWERFUL’
I actually like Tom Macdonald a lot and listen to Dax as well. While I like the lyrics of the song, I just don't really enjoy the way it sounds vocally, especially the first half.
I’ve already watched 5 reactions to this video and 3 of them talk about how changing rock, politics, and parents would have more of an impact than blaming rappers. But quick question? Can Dax and Tom McDonald control the message Rockers, Politicians, or parents convey to their kids. No they can only change hip hop cause that’s the industry their in. Thank you Dax and Tom McDonald hopefully everyone sees this video and hears the song!
@Ralph Lamy See I understand where you be coming from but this is song not a speech. It's the kinda "you know who you are" kinda vibe not EVERY RAPPER MUST BURN BY THE HOLY LIGHT kinda shit. I see some people get defensive about this video because they feel like it's targeting their favorite rapper when it's simply not true, just because something isn't stated doesn't void it from the message.
The whole point of the song was to focus on the messages related to the hip hop genre. I’m sure they recognized the big rappers who don’t do this however change starts with realizing there’s a problem even if it is with a minority of the rappers and fixing it. Also they did hint at the mumble rappers specifically at least twice that I noticed. And given there past history of songs which gave there stand on mumble rappers I don’t see why you would mention rappers who are not contributing to the problem but are part of the solution.
He's not underrated but his *Real* music are the one which is underrated. If you look at the comments of his real music such as Blame the rappers and Coronavirus. Everybody's showing hate!

Hey, teen here. This song ain't some woke blessing that people think it is. The song is such a surface level discussion that me (and most teens) have already heard since I started listening to rap. I have often stated that there are two universal languages in this world, the first is math... There's so much that we can learn, universally through numbers. The second is music, no matter where you go, you can always tell that distinctive sound and rhythm that always makes you want to engage with it on some level. This is where music can have a profound influence on the listener, no matter the age, this is why musicians need to really think about the message that they're trying to send.
@Abbadabs Odell I still don't understand Tom's fanbase. There are way better rappers out there speaking on this subject. But primarily, this song is just spitting the wrong facts. The concept of blaming the rappers isn't something that's going to save our youth, and these two rappers aren't some huge heroes that are going to save the rap game. 1. Because there are way better rappers doing a better job of this and 2. Their whole concept is something media has been doing for the last 30 years: make rap a scapegoat. What they're doing is instead of acknowledging the fact that ghettos and gangs have been created by lack of resources and racism in the past, they're blaming rap music on violence and drug crises. Seriously, you think any sane human is going to shoot his friend after hearing people talk about guns in rap (like what Macdonald said in the song)? Vice versa, would someone running drugs stop bc they heard heard a "positive" song? No, bc they're forced to hustle, it's not like they have a choice and any music is gonna change that.
James Shirey no one is forced to do anything. They have a choice like everyone else. So they don’t have to “trap” their way through life. They can choose to stay in school and get and education instead of choosing the wrong path of life. If they are older then they can choose to try and find a good or better job than what they have and leave the life that they was living. The point is that Tom is telling people that the rap genre influences way to many kids to choose the wrong path of life. I’m a huge metal head and even they do it a lot in that genre but unfortunately rap has to much of a fan base now a days and it influences way more than any other genre. So that’s why this is the main focus of this song.

Tom and Dax need to do more songs like this. Real words here man
Ima buy ur merch man i love u and ur reactions plus the design ima support u 👏
People will never change, the drugs, sex, money, cars. It sells. It's sad but it's so true, we need a we are the world moment or some sort of unity concert to inflict change in the hearts of many, because it's so easy to trash a song over the internet and disregard it, we need change, but we will never get it.
I'm early great reaction love ya keep it lit 💪🔥🔥🔥
Music is SO powerful. There’s a Saint (Augustine or Aquinas) who said the most powerful way to pray, is through song ♥️ But that’s a double edged sword; goes both ways.
Definitely would like to another Tom and Dax collab. This was truth and fire
I got chills
I’m glad someone actually understands what the song means it’s not a joke ik more kids that started do drugs because they started listening to rap music then kids that started taking drugs because of any other reason there is to many rapper making it look ok and fun
