@@mythyou33 if you're thinking about the Holy Roman Empire and the Hasburg Empire, they aren't Germany because Germany wasn't formed yet. It would be in 1871 by the Prussians.

@@Santations Actually the HRE and the Habsburg empire were German as 1. the HRE was mostly German and was ruled by Germans, including Austrians as they are German, and 2. the Habsburg empire was ruled by the Habsburgs, who were Austrians, who were German. Additionally, Hitler actually considered the HRE as the first Reich, and that Nazi Germany was the Third Reich
