1:28 scrub 6:13 double backflip barspin 6:39 yea, Whistler 7:38 no, Utah 8:11 yes, it is easy, it’s just a bit bumpy haha 9:05 it is either a whip or a euro table as in pipe, it isn’t that hard but it’s a bit tricky to learn
Riding down stairs is easy, gapping, breaking and turning on them not do mutch, especially breaking is a surprise, it just sucks up your travel so hard.
Definitely do more mtb vids Sam. And riding down stairs is actually really easy and fun! Definitely try it. Although be careful not to puncture your tires, you might want to pump your tires up a little more than usual if you do end up trying it.
The berms are designed to catch the bike and help them turn. Also the angle makes it easier to carry speed around them, so on a fast flowing trial you usually get fairly steep berms to help with speed but on a jump line the berms will be shallow as you don't need to ride them so aggressively.
"The amount of I would so that is no..." "Is riding down stairs easy?" Uh actually to me, Sam, it is for some reason. To other people, they might say it isn't easy. But that's my opinion that it IS easy...
As a sponsored racer, this video in my opinion makes me feel better as there will be new riders that will bring not only more money but more confidence to the racers at the races, or the new riders will become racers which will benefit companies, etc
watching Sam react to people who in the mountainbike world are household names like rogatkin and godziek and how he butchered there names along with kaos' made my day, i would reccomend watching red bull tv when the downhill and some free ride events are on because its always class to watch
I love that he called a foot plant a boneless, so cool to see people discovering the sport, keep at it! Edit: “HE DID THAT?” perfectly summarizes Jordie’s legacy, so sad that he is no longer with us today.
I agree with Sam I just want to learn to jump and flow threw the trail. In currently riding a hard tail and hopefully in the future I can get to that level of riding with a better rig too.
4:42 it is not casing ramps, its just casing or casing landings, casing is the literal word for falling to make the landing. Or meybe casing jumps if you are not referring to drops (and we almost never use the word ramp, we almost olways call it a lip or take off)
That berm section think it was 4-5 clips in its dropping your shoulder leaning in hard and turning sharp also cutting into the berm slightly so your riding slightly on the flat spot in the bottom
this was great watching sam nerd out about mtb tricks and stunts it so nice to see and newbies reaction to the pros honestly sam we all love you so so so much keep making ur vids and we would love to see some mtb content from you also here a quick tip buy a full face helmet its great for downhill mtb and will save you a lot of pain and will keep you safe. most riders have them as they are highly recommended apart from that have a nice day and keep making your vids we love you and will continue to support you hopefully mtb is a new and amazing journey for you
8:10 I have not been riding mountain bikes for very long, but riding down stairs is no different than riding on a rough surface if you have enough speed and are standing up
HI SAM! Its called "valparaiso cerro abajo" is on my hometown dudes from all over the world come here to do some downhill through the city and houses haha
Super Top video jajajajaj. Now I feel big motivated to get on the trail myself, what gets me going the longest while bike is *Delta Parole* or other rokk music!
Remy Metailler has his own YT channel with a huge following from the MTB community. He rides some of the craziest stuff in the world , mainly in BC. If your into MTB, he is definitely one of the channels you should subscribe to. Even very capable riders are awestruck by some of the stuff he rides.
The red bike with the big back tire is Sam Pilgrim, he has a youtube channel about mostly MTB, but also does whacky crap on there too, and he daily uploads. Also, the reason you can't stoppie more than 5ft is because your going to slow. You need to carry much more momentum and balance with feathering the front brake.
Yeah the jordie Lunn tree drop is literally the coolest thing I've ever seen someone do on a mtb. Dude's a true legend rest in peace
Rip Jordie. We are close family friends with the Lunns.☹️ sad to see a legend go.
Jordie was an amazing rider, I watched him all the time. He was a real loss to the riding world.
Dude I remember when Sam just started his Descenders series, and now he's mountain biking in real life.
I love it :)
It’s so funny listening to non riders or beginners talk about mountain bikers!!
Yeah
Yeah lol
Can you even reach the peddles, AlVin?¿?
Yeah
Luckily he has biked
1:28 scrub
6:13 double backflip barspin

Such enlightenment.
I can't even ride a bicycle properly...
10:22 RIP Jordie Lunn, you were a legend
Definitely do more mtb vids Sam. And riding down stairs is actually really easy and fun! Definitely try it. Although be careful not to puncture your tires, you might want to pump your tires up a little more than usual if you do end up trying it.
Thank you for all the content from both of your channels Sam, you never fail to entertain us, you're awesome!

7:47 yes I believe you can do that in Descenders, 360 + opposite tailwhip. Sticks go in opposite directions.
I love the iconic "hello"!😂😂 Love the vids Sam
I cant imagine what crazy shit Jordi Lunn would still be doing RIP
Yaaassss!! Sam reacting to things!! The amount of great this is, is a lot!!
1:20 in motocross we call that a scrub when they try to stay as low as possible. A whip is for style. Scrub is for speed. Very similar things though.
yea its called a srub in mtb too but sam is a bit wierd w the names
2:42 brooo that's my local!! If you ever what to come down to the PNW I would love to show you around! 😁🤘🤘🤘🤘

The way he said Kaos Seagrave made me crack up. "Kayosia grave"
At 10:53 that video is at mammoth mountain, that down hill is SOOOO fun to ride down, can get a ton of speed!!
Kayo- oasea grave love that! Haha, it's pronounced like Chaos Seagrave btw
Love all your vids Sam. Here is a suggestion: PLEASE get a full helmet for mountain biking. I had a crash the other day and it saved me big time.
I think he does
Does a cow head count?
Hé already got one
@@mads_ittmann1823 A full face? Pretty sure in his last vid he only had a half lid.
@@ogfloridaman_ nope a full face check his vid where he try’s to go jumping
"The amount of I would so that is no..."
"Is riding down stairs easy?"
Uh actually to me, Sam, it is for some reason. To other people, they might say it isn't easy. But that's my opinion that it IS easy...
EVERYONE THINKS its easy you just ride
@Edwin Sanford i think i have too
It is really easy surprisingly! All you have to do is keep the bars straight and stay in the attack position.
@Travis Talpos true
@@mtb_blake yea
As a sponsored racer, this video in my opinion makes me feel better as there will be new riders that will bring not only more money but more confidence to the racers at the races, or the new riders will become racers which will benefit companies, etc

watching Sam react to people who in the mountainbike world are household names like rogatkin and godziek and how he butchered there names along with kaos' made my day, i would reccomend watching red bull tv when the downhill and some free ride events are on because its always class to watch
Riding down stairs is actually really easy with good suspension and the faster you go, the smoother it is
4:50 thats what you call a pure shredder!🔥😏
As a mountain biker I love this 😂

That jordie lunn tree drop always bring back good memories, RIP bro
Quick tip: manual is when they ride in a wheely without pedaling. Wheely is where you keep the front wheel up by pedaling.
I agree with Sam I just want to learn to jump and flow threw the trail. In currently riding a hard tail and hopefully in the future I can get to that level of riding with a better rig too.
At time meter 7:34 it looks like riders republic
Hi Sam!😀

"Remy metaller jackson goldstone?" Hahaha🤣🤣🤣
Yeas Sam. Riding dow stairs are super easy
Sam : That guy just fall and his friend just laughed like "Hu hua ha".
Me : "hu hua hi ha ha"
2:37 Dude that's Duthie Hill, and its honestly a sick park, I was just there a few weeks ago and it was great
"that thing where you twirl the body around the bicycle" Lmaoo
Riding down stairs is like a ramp if the stairs are all the same size. it’s just a tiny bit bumpy. You would definitely be able to do it!
ive been waiting for this
4:42 it is not casing ramps, its just casing or casing landings, casing is the literal word for falling to make the landing. Or meybe casing jumps if you are not referring to drops (and we almost never use the word ramp, we almost olways call it a lip or take off)
5:30 yo it’s Sam Pilgrim
Yeah only Sam does that kind of stuff 😂
yes stairs are very easy just start small and then start doing bigger ones, nice video by the way sam
You should watch when Nicholi fell down the mountainside at red bull rampage…got up & soldiered on! 🙌🏻
Thank you for the content I kinda love mountain biking
That drop in from a tree is called "oh hell no"
I salute this man for trying to name the tricks and trail obstacles i7
I'm liking the biking stuff, keep it up :)
Sam: if I am gonna fall I am gonna stick to the handlebars and don’t know what i am doing. Me: good that is great.
Nobody:
Sam: RIMMY MUTAHLEEYER and jackson goldstone
we need more of this
Remy from 3:21 is one of the most impressive riders out there. He has a lot of crazy IG clips.
ITS CALLED A SCRUB ON MXGP 1:26, IN MTB TERMS YES A WHIP OR TABLE
That berm section think it was 4-5 clips in its dropping your shoulder leaning in hard and turning sharp also cutting into the berm slightly so your riding slightly on the flat spot in the bottom
Finnaly it came the reaction to INSANE mountain biking
god i can’t wait for sam to ride berm peak
Hell yah

Super Top video jajajajaj. Now I feel big motivated to get on the trail myself, what gets me going the longest while bike is *Delta Parole* or other rokk music!
Awesome video and great clip choices!
At the time meter 7:14 u can see it looks like he is doing a foot jam tailwhip but just a foot jam 180
That trick was so table top because I have seen you do it in decenders

FINALLY!!!!
when i was mountain biking i hit a jump and i hit the edge off the landing ramp and i fell of the landing and i broke my arm
lmfao when you said “the amount that i would do that is no”
U would easily be able to do Whistler man! U would also love Thredbo in Australia!
The 3rd one in is called a scrub, Mostly called a whip but they are scrubbing their tyre on the take off thats why its called a scrub
It is easy to ride downstairs as long as you don’t have a kickstand
2:22 they dont use breaks, it s like a trick named swrap
“That’s a party, I don’t even understand- that’s another party”
5:35 that’s Sam pilgrim on TH-cam. He makes good videos. Check him out
As a freeride mtber I welcome you to the sport man
Going down a set of stairs on a bike is a piece of cake
for the 3rd clip it is called a scrub and its at crankworx insbruck
Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooow. Good job 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Duuuuude axell hodges is a really good dirt bike rider! He messes around on mountain bikes sometimes and snowboarding too
Bro, you need to watch Redbull Rampage and Hardline. Both of those got me into MTB. Insane to see the ability of the riders.
