    The Lucky 13 th. I attended radio school in 89. Fond memories of fellow Airman and good times at the Airman club.

    I stayed at base with family in 70's. We spent night in visiting officer quarters. Very nice. Kitchen came with liquor, pots, pans etc. Impressed me at time Good to see how it has grown.

    Great video! I went to tech school at Kessler in 2004! I live on the Gulf Coast. When I visit the Biloxi/Gulfport to play at the Casinos I will drive onto Kessler just to take a look around.

    I trained at Keesler for my initial careerfield as a pipeline and trained there again for another careerfield as permanent party. Brings back some nostalgia.

    Nice video! I was stationed here in 1967 and must say I don't recognize anything of those years. Is their an older section of the base? Thanks

    There is a third gym at the Dragon Fitness Center, at least while I was stationed there between 1997-2008.

    So beautiful thanks for the video, the water looks nice and clean, is it safe to swim in? Because I heard airmen say that the water is polluted to swim in not sure if that's still true

    • @MandysOldSoulVintage
      @MandysOldSoulVintage  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No don’t get in the water 🤢. I always wondered when when we first got here while we always had the beach to ourselves there was no one on it no one in the water now we know why there’s like flesh eating bacteria in the water and it’s just gross water. So now, when we go to the beach, we always wear shoes and walk on the sand Il just say it’s pretty to look at 😍

      @@MandysOldSoulVintage that sucks about the water but yeah it's still a beautiful place to live and enjoy. God bless you and take care ☺

      They bring in sand from Florida to cover the muck, water is contaminated. Better beaches in Gulf Coast Alabama and Florida! Good base tho!

    • @benatone5633
      @benatone5633 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@speedracer2336 BS You don't know what you are talking about. The sand beach is pumped in from a couple hundred yards off the shoreline. If you ever seen it at a very low tide it's not muck it is nothing but sand as far as you can see. The water is not polluted it is brackish because of the barrier islands and the Mississippi and Pearl Rivers. I've swimmed and fished in this water all of my 67 years and am still alive. So tired of people's misinformation about the water.

      @@MandysOldSoulVintage FYI most if not all military installations do not allow filming (video or picture s) while on the base. Each base has those restrictions at the main gate.
