Skip I want to talk about this species that I rarely see info on and that's the spawning of the polleni cichlids each time they spawn it was a big white clump of something and they always eat it or it just fades away with time I had 3 mating pairs n same result I only seen 1 video when polleni was actually laying eggs n they were perfectly fertilized with no white clump I figured I ask u because I look up every avenue n hit a brick wall
I Just picked up a female starry that has no spots at all. was told that spots will either come or its because shes a female but i dont know. just got a new tank so putting mbuna's in with her and shes kinda just sitting by the heater and not eating so not sure whats up
Skip I luv the small spot variant, but I had a 9" male dat had no spots solid black, n his tail was slightly blue and the bottom lip was blue talkin bout an awesome polleni omg unfortunately I wokeup n found him behind the door he jump out crash thru lid n all I was sick bruh
