One of the best collection of photographs of Old Sri Lanka I have seen. The photograph of Thomas Skinner is very interesting. Though many people are unaware of it, it was he who commenced mapping the entire country, wading barefoot through thick jungles from mountain to mountain, noting the geographical features. The entire nation should be grateful to him for his untiring services rendered to us.
