- How to create this epic 3d rotating cylinder number lock effect with custom set number for a pin code or number lock using a plugin called Odomoter in Adobe After Effects CC 2023 and older versions of After Effects. This effect is easier to create with the Odomoter plugin because you can create this rotating number effect without having to rotate each colum. Adobe After Effects is the perfect video editing software for those type of effects like a 3d number or text.

I used a blending effect in Photoshop called bevel and emboss to add a highlight and shadow to 1 square shape then duplicated it a few times to create the line effect you'd see on a locker number lock
