What I like about Roberto is how he is both a guy next door and a larger-than-life musician. How many people have the pleasure of getting to collaborate with somebody such as him?
i’ve become obsessed with these single coil early p-basses and telecaster bass reissues after seeing one roberto demonstrated a few months ago. years ago mark agnesi also showed one off on this channel. incredibly punchy and resonant sounding basses.
Fender should make a Signature model for Roberto if they haven’t already, Guy is amazing with the bass , love how He can sit down and just roll into any genre , I know a lot of people can but I just love his playing… Him and many others, too cool
You gonna play it or just talk about it? If your so blown away by how it sounds, why play just a few scales for about sixty seconds, then tell viewers they should make the trip to the store so they can try it out too? You did not even put it through its paces. Thanks for the choked off, milquetoast presentation of that beautiful instrument.
Refin ? Relic? Isn't the value cut in half (or less)? Long ago I tried to sell one (with these attributes) to NH and we got punched in the gut. Just sayin..🎉 find another, with no issues, right? Nice playing here!

You gotta love Roberto
Those are cool with flatwounds. The original bassist for the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Keith Ferguson used one to legendary effect.
Great..
Beautiful bass!
🥇
☮️
Beautiful! My guess is that the contours are not original because I think that Fender started doing those in '55
Nice looking bass...?players grade? Or expensive?
You mean I’m older than you Roberto? Wow that bass sounds better than me. 🎸🤣
Always wanted a bass like that, but these old instruments are to expensive and they are not for everyone 'so budget! 🇫🇷🎄
A/B this video with RV’s review of the ‘69 Telecaster Bass from 3 months ago.
is it for sale?
👍✌❤😎
How y'all get Ad-sensed on Thumping Thursday, I'll never know 😂
So dark, it's practically turned into a rosewood board!

Nice bass. But why refinish it then relic it again? It already had actual wear & tear done the legit way, just leave it? grrrrrrrrr
The guy never does tone control comparison
Sounds muddy.
That pickup is about to die. Nice sounding pickups are like nice sounding tubes. About to eat it.
Next time, how bout walking some lines so we can hear what it can do.That "punch" you were talking about really didn't kick in.
man he didn't play anything , they should of had grover Cleveland jr play that bass
