I went to his concert in Berlin and took something with me. It was the TA13OO album cover made from perler beads. During the show, I held it up in the air and Denzel actually noticed it. So after the concert, I gave the security manager this thing, he said he'd bring him out again. After 10 minutes of waiting, the manager told me to come with him so I ran backstage with him. Denzel had already received it as it was laying on the table he was standing next to. When I ran in there, he just looked really confused saying: "Hey", shook my hand, asked me if I made it, said thank you and 'Danke' which was pretty cool. Then I gave him the tickets but no one had a pen. A woman gave one to him but that didn't work well, so he said 'I'll be right back', sprinted into a nearby room and then came back within a literal second saying :'Alright, I found a pen!' And after all of that, he signed the tickets. I said thanks to him so he shook my hand again and hugged me before I left the backstage area.

Denzel and Kendrick need to work together. They are both at the same crossroads at different points in their life: going to therapy in a scene that doesn't usually accept that. They are healing but more importantly changing the way the game is

Man this albums speaks to me especially this song, I was shot with a rubber bullet and tear gassed for blm in miami on May 30th 2020, and my grandad died of covid that year too. It took a lot to walk out of that funk and trauma, bless you Denzel for making me relate to an artists’ work again after so many years

This song has its own meaning for me, this album came out during a stressful time for myself where I found myself nearly homeless with my dad due to a rental crisis and this song hit different then the rest of the album for that reason, I felt like this song spoke the situation I was in, and I respect denzels artistry and writing so much more because of that.
