I love the idea of using the latchmate bins to old board games. Why didn't I think of that? So smart. We have a few games whose boxes are dead, so I think I'm gonna have to order some. Cute, cute, CUTE file folders! 😍 I can see why you couldn't resist, even if Avi doesn't end up using them, lol! I can't wait to see her desk! I love the Shine-a-Light books! We have the construction one and the animal camaflouge one. I love the inventor one! I think that'll be under the Christmas tree for my boys this year!
So, for a little deeper explanation, Usborne is a UK based publishing company. For many years EDC had exclusive rights to sell Usborne products under the name "Usborne Books and More" where they also sold Kane Miller, Learning Pallete and Learning Wrap-Up Products. At the end of 2022/ beginning of 2023 EDC also picked up/bought out Smart Lab Toys. That also happens to be when their contract for using the "Usborne" name ended. They then rebranded their home business direct to consumer division and it is now called PaperPie. In general it is still the same company and still works the same way.
Hi Dina! Do you have a read aloud suggestion for a 6yr and 5yr olds. I was reading a book myself the other night and my oldest wanted me to read out loud to him. He sat and listened the entire time! I didn’t think he’d be into that yet. I’m so excited 😆
Oh kids LOVE being read to! My kids loved Charolett's Web at that age. Picture books are always great read alouds too. Have you heard to the Read Aloud Revival Podcast? She has a TON of great recommendations there.
Those big bins from Michaels that have the tray… I actually got these last year at your recommendation and they are great. I saw them at Walmart the other day though. They look exactly like the one you’re showing here. The tray came with it.
I have a general school savings where a set aside a little from each paycheck throughout the year so we can get different school supplies and curriculum. 😁

They partnered with a satanic designer to push an anti-christian pro-lgbtq agenda. The designer sells items that say "Satan respects pronouns " and "Satan will always accept you" along with many other satanic items. They also sold an anti-bible 666 shirt. Overall target has become a company that many people no longer shop at or recommend others shop due to their flat out hatred towards God and obvious targeting of children
Oh gosh! I didn't even notice they were wider! You're right! They still fit into the Kallax like cubby shelves but not other cubby shelves. That's too bad. You can find the old ones at Walmart and Amazon or even Dollar General, but not in white.
We've already read Romeo and Juliet so my kids know all about it. It was more the illustrations in Dracula and Frankenstein that were surprisingly too graphic for a children's book (imo). But you bring up a good point! I need to check the illustrations in the other books also. Thank you! ❤️

It IS SO much fun! My kids have even made little animals and tea cups. The best part is that when it drys fully, you can paint it. :)

Usborne is the publisher and that has changed. But Paper Pie is who you order them through and the sell a bunch of non-Usborne stuff as well.

In a nutshell, Target was selling/displaying LGBTQ merch for pride month and people were fairly successfully boycotting them.
