Efteiling May ‘23 ✅ Energylandia Sep ‘23 ✅ Europa park May ‘24 ✅ Phantasialand booked Nov ‘24 so excited for this. Cedar Point - I can dream, they’ll probably be on top thrill 3 by the time I get there 🤣
I don't really rate Energylandia in the same class as the other parks on this list... it has some good coasters but it's a bit of a sprawling mess of a park to be honest! But as an under-the-radar recommendation, I would encourage anybody to go to Movieland Park Italy - it's a little park with such unique attractions and really good value, I loved my day there and it put Gardaland (down the road) to shame. Definitely punches above its weight :)
Interesting. I’ve heard of Gardaland but the only Movieland that springs to mind is Germany so I’ll need to check that one out. And I get what you’re saying about Energylandia. As I said if it’s thrills or creds then definitely worth it but clearly not compatible from a theming point of view.
Movieland Park was such a flashback for me, knowing the 80s/90s versions of the American themeparks! Really gives those old-fashioned park vibes, but in a good way. Had a constant smile on my face during the Rambo stunt show! 😂😂😂
Yeah, Movieland Park - don't be put off by the lack of coasters, they have some crazy alternative attractions - a self-drive dinosaur safari, a speedboat ride, a pretty mental truck ride, one of the original intamin drop towers, some really good shows - it's family run and they really care about providing a great experience!
@@edbrown2998 oh my god, Magma 2.0... one of the funniest ride I've ever been on! We all were totally soaked, and the whole truck was howling with laughter!🤣🤣🤣 Btw. I have some onrides on my channel from the park, if anyone's interested. 😉
Efteling has always been one of the parks on my bucket list, I just love their meticulous attention to detail in their attractions and overt fantasy theming. Another park that I'd throw in there is Nagashima Spa-Land, a theme park located near Nagoya, Japan. It's home to a LOT of rare and unique attractions, including numerous thrilling roller coasters. One such coaster in the park (Corkscrew) was even featured in the famed 1992 anime Sailor Moon.
@coaster_dad I've even composed an entire laundry list of international theme parks that I need to visit that weren't included on the list, like Kings Island, Universal's Epic Universe, PortAdventura World, Sanrio Puroland, Gardaland, Legoland Billund, Tivoli Gardens, Liseberg, Fuji-Q Highland, Lotte World, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Six Flags Magic Mountain, and Alton Towers, among numerous others.
@@coaster_dad The thing is to go to each park one by one. Next summer, I'm going to scratch off Kings Island from the list since I'll be going there around the week of my birthday!
Went to Phantasialand for Winterraum… Oh my god, it was insane, queues were not horrendous and I went on a key day (30th December.), I will never forget that day.
Efteling and Phantasialand are fantastic. The other 3 I have still on the list. Phantasialand and hotel Ling Bao were relaxing. Five minutes to Klugheim.
Cedar Point is top of my list too, I really wish I had got to do top thrill dragster, I've marvelled over that coaster for years. Feel the same way about dododonpa...at least we have stealth right? Lol.
Been there a couple of times make sure you go on the of seizone cause that park gets busy and the fast passes are very expensive. You have to do it if youre coaster lover but its not really my favorite park in the states. That would be silver dollar city a way more relaxer prettier park with still some very good coasters.
Love the video been to all the European parks you mentioned all are s-tier parks, i have so many American parks on my bucket list that i would have to do some stupidity long road trip to get them all in (not a bad idea a route 66 for coasters🤣) loved energylandia's theming early parts like something out rollercoaster Tycoon newer parts very nicely done and i know it might sound weird but really loved that most of the toilets were themed to the part of the park they were in planing on going back next year
Been to Europa Park and Phantasialand, both amazing parks with excellent on site hotels. One park I would recommend is Hollywood studios at Walt Disney World. No standout coasters but their themed areas and dark rides are world class.
Done Europa Park, Efteling, Phantasialand and Energylandia. First 3 definitely bucket list parks for all. Europa Park best over-all, Efteling most magical, Phantasialand most immersive. Energylandia is great for the coasters, but the rest is lacking. I would rather add Liseberg to a bucket list. It's a very well kept park, has a great coaster- and ride line-up, and very positive and "homely" atmosphere, if that makes sense (like Efteling of the north! 😄). Definitely worth visiting!
Those 5 parks are on my bucket list along with Linnanmäki in Finland. The problem is, my bucket has holes in it so I'll just plug the gaps with UK parks until I get around to fixing the holes - i.e. (renew passport, organise time in my diary and sort out my finances etc etc).
I absolutely love Efteling as its actually so magical, Europa park is objectively the best theme park I've been to and phantasialand I think is my personal favourite. I haven't been to cedar point and I haven't been to energylandia because they have a 1.95m height restriction for everything so it's a risk they don't let me on anything so I haven't bothered flying out there. Also just to be pedantic hyperion is a intamin hyper coaster 😅, sure you knew that really though.
The hotels europa park are exceptional..not cheap though but well worth the money..the one we stayed in it was less than a minute into the park at a special hotel entrance..early entry too..like i say not cheap but they are all exceptional..breakfast beat any all you can eat over here in uk easily..loads of choices..top quality food...book early though all hotels sell out quickly especially now voltron is open
I agree with you that cedar point certainly belongs on the list if you are a coaster lover. But its not my favorite park in the states that would be silver dollar city. I haven't done florida, hershey park, knoebbels and morray's pier but i ve done all the other major parks and cedar point is i think on me number 6 or 7 spot. Its defently bucket list park but it gets so busy and except for the back side its really pretty ugly. Wich drops it back to other parks even with the exceptionaly good line up of coasters. Now it might go up if i can find the time when its not so crowded i looked into a fast pass and it was 220 dollar that day.
@@coaster_dad It was my US most anticapated park Before i went there. So you picked well. And just that its not my favorite park doesn't mean i won't go back there. I'm about a 5 hour ride away in 2026 so i defently will take the detour.
Did you say you were visiting Thorpe Park today? Hyperia was opened and there were no delays or extensions to the planned maintenance window which is good. I Hope you got to ride it and if you did I'm sure looking forward to the video!
For Europa Park you can either fly to Bern in Switzerland and take the Deutche bahn train to Ringsheim then the bus to EP. ( you can get a train ticket to EP which includes the bus ticket) OR fly to BadenBaden/Karlsruhe then hire a car and drive 30-40 mins to Rust or DB train again. EASY

Going to the one in Germany next week and going to the Italian one next year both will be new parks for me so looking forward to it

Nice. Not gonna lie, it was tricky limiting this list to only 5 😀

Smashing video mate! Efteling is right up there on my bucket list and even more so now I know the tree will wish me a happy birthday 😂 INCREDIBLE 😍
You won't be disappointed bud! Would love to see you and Hollie's thoughts when you visit 😁
I'm going to Phantasialand soon and I really, really can't wait!!
I guarantee you’ll have a fantastic time, I’m jealous 😀
I love phantasia land but the most intense coaster there is Winjas Fear & Force. All the other coasters are super relaxed.
😂

I genuinely was blown away by the park 😀

Been to Efteling and Europa Park. Cedar Point is top of my bucket list. My kids constantly ask me to bring then to Ohio 😂
Fingers crossed I get to the last 3. Hopefully do Europa Park and Energylandia next year and I may squeeze Cedar Point in 🤞

Yes, definitely some world-class parks.
And there are many more, I could easily have showcased 10, 15, 20…. 😀

2/5 in Germany. Seems like a great country for parks!
Oh there are more in Germany that I wanna do. I was just trying to limit myself to 5 🙈
Been to Europa Park and Phantasialand, both amazing parks with excellent on site hotels. One park I would recommend is Hollywood studios at Walt Disney World. No standout coasters but their themed areas and dark rides are world class.
That's fair, if you're a Star Wars fan it's an absolute must 😁
