Breaking down expansions and presenting them separately for people to learn about through videos is super practical and not commonly done. Hopefully, there will be more expansion content in the future.
I have only played Ark Nova solo. but I liked it so much, so I decided to purchase this expansion and the extra maps. Because I liked it so much! My boyfriend was playing on His phone with a city building / farming game meanwhile I was playing this game solo on the kitchen table. it was a lot of fun! I can only recommend Ark Nova to anyone who loves to play alone but prefers board / table top games instead of phone / tablet. :D I'm a software developer, I see the screen all day long, to play a tabletop game at the end of the day is very refreshing :)
That was one reason we got into Board Games - was to get off our phones. I know games like Ark Nova are online, but personally I find it so much more rewarding to play with actual pieces. Enjoy your expansion!
