It's all about communication. If Nikki were able to say to Artem "I trust you taking care of our son, it does still gives me anxiety about me as his mother not being with him while traveling". Its all about open and honest communication, working as a team to resolve every conflict.
she did say that though to him on episode 2 in the end. artem has known how worried she gets but in his perspective he felt she didn't want him to meet his parents when that wasn't the case at all. she literally said how happy she was for them to be able to see his parents on Ep.2. that is why she said you know what i mean. she just wanted him to understand & feel her perspective but he didn't. he can be stubborn at times and not admit he is in wrong. its probably bc many of the fans (casual fans, cena fans, haters, his fans) have always sided with him & nikki getting all the hate comments so he wants to be the seen as the good guy always.

But you just have to work on it there still newer parents together and I know separating from your family does give major anxiety I had it even being in the hospital having my second son I was freaking out while having a baby knowing my other baby was at home I kept having to tell the nurses and doctors I need to get home to my other child I hate leaving my babies and in that moment you say things that don't come out the right way even though you don't mean it that way.

I think that for all that Artem was saying about Nikki not seeing his side of things, he absolutely refused to see the fact that it wasn't about not wanting Mateo to meet his parents but actually about sending her child to a third world country without her there. Most parents don't want to send their child to another country without them. Also, he kept repeating that he put the rings in the safe and Nicole is saying she didn't touch them and he just keeps saying it as if she took them out. I'm not sure what response he was expecting from her.

In Slavic culture.. not having ( mysteriously missing) the rings and not having Artems parents there, & getting married in the dress she originally bought to marry John Cena in (meaning meant for another wedding in mind) are huge bad omens… I’m sure that’s why Artem was so upset & so in his head. I don’t feel this pair understand each other.. I give them less than 5 years
he doesn't believe in superstition. he said he didn't care about Nikki wearing her previous wedding dress. she bought it with her own money, she never wore it, & cena never saw it in any capacity. his parents were able to watch them get married. it's not like they miss the wedding completely. they did their best to bring them to Paris but it was impossible due to the war. one of the reasons why they kept waiting to get married was bc he wanted his parents to be at the wedding but unfortunately they couldn't wait much more longer bc waiting on a war & aftermath to be over is out of their control & whole different obstacle. his parents blessed them with a beautiful toast in EP.3. his whole family were happy they finally got married. & it was only his ring that was missing. brie saying rings was a mistake on her part. the next day, he found his ring so it was not lost forever in Paris. he came back home with it. overall, couples with "perfect" weddings or minimal drama end up in divorce. there is no specific guideline to follow to guarantee a lasting marriage. it's different for every couple! so stop dooming their relationship bc you are unhappy with your

Red Flags.
Something always goes wrong before a wedding. My sister's bridesmaid dress did not fit as she had not gone to the final fitting, so my other BM had to wrestle her into it. Then my other bridesmaid couldn't find her breast pump and her boob started leaking breast milk everywhere causing panic until she found it. Then my niggling bladder pain turned into a full on UTI and I was in terrible pain. So yeah, it's not just on reality TV where things go wrong before a wedding.
