Ive been struggling with a lot of depression due to unfortunate circumstances. Circumstances created by my own actions. Acting compulsively without considering the effects is very detrimental to ones self. Now i must wrestle with the realization that ive been my worst enemy. If it werent for my most committed supporters im afraid i may have fallen onto my own sword. I am grateful to not have to fight this battle alone. I am grateful for my allies, brothers, family. I am assured of defeating my demons because i am aligned with living angels❤️

You got that right. And the war can be brutal and intense.

May I ask brother, what happens if you lose.
You may be able to guess why I'm asking

defeat is temporary, its just a lost battle get up face it again, you might lose but god wants you to win the wars not the battles.as per if suicide helps, it does not it just transfers the sadness and pain to another person@@bere4fucin

@@bere4fucin You act like Rome, Rome was defeated so many times, especially during the Punic wars, in so many battles, they lost one third of their male population in those wars. However, after every lost battle, no matter how crushingly it was lost, they would set out again after their enemies. No other civilisation of the ancient world would have done such a thing, all others would have sued for piece. The situation was disasterous, but the Roman commanders did not care. Although there was no victory in sight, they kept fighting, they kept dying. Eventually, however, at the end of the war, their enemies were defeated, and Rome was victorious. By pure determination victory can be achieved against overwhelming odds. sometimes mental battles will be overwhelming, but after every defeat, you raise a new army, and take to battle again. If you do this, then eventually victory will be achieved.
I have fought so many of these battles of the mind which ended in defeat, and I am yet to see victory(I got close). Despite losing so many times, and being desperate to surrendur to the many enemies(and having embarassingly surrendured on a few occasions), I must keep fighting, and, if I am correct in guessing why you asked, in the same way you can keep fighting too, even if you have lost many battles.

The worst part about this internal struggle is that I am fully conscious that I am the root cause of my suffering yet I feel helpless from my emotional triggers. I can't blame those who make me feel pain because I unknowingly give them that permission to be superior above me. I am my worst critic and it is why I perceive others as having harsh judgement towards me through the harsh self-judgement I have. I am trying to love myself but it seems almost impossible to relearn something that is already well embedded and established within my psyche.

It is def possible it starts by small changes, baby steps, actions that are negligible, but over time something new pops into you. The problem is usually our type of people (the struggling internally every minute type), gets arrogant so quick that he becomes untitled to the new changes and refuse to be humble and feel pain again and again and again. Pride is your worst enemy my friend.
