    I always like pinterest for moodboards, you can even invite your model onto a board you've already created. That way you can let them in on the creative process beforehand. I like it particular for that reason cause it makes it so much more feel like a team effort.

    Tip, your sound is a little flat. Buy a Tascam DR-10L it is pretty cheap and is seperate from your camera so fits in your pocket. Used for weddings. You record your voice seperate and line up the sound in post. You can use a clap. Much simpler than a mic on the camera, soinds better and smaller to use. Good luck with your channel. 👍

    Very interesting video, great tips.
    You can share a collection from LrC to lightroom mobile, send a weblink and then the person receiving the link can comment on the photos and I think like them too - this goes directly back into LrC - it can be a handy workflow, I’m a little rusty on how it works as I’ve not used it in while, last time I used it was for an Australian bride & groom and I was in the uk doing the editing.

    Do you ever mess around with the whitebalance setting of your camera? if so when and where? Personally I don't do it and just make those adjustments while editing but I've seen Chris do it in a couple of videos and was wondering if you know any benefit of doing so.
    Also love the "Doei doei" at the end, cant help but make me smile 😄

      Good question! Pixieset gives you the option to download the files names of the selected photos. You can then paste this list in your Lightroom library, and then the selection is ready for you to edit. Hope this makes sense! :)

    How do you begin getting paid shoots? I did a few with friends, my girlfriend and just people I know, but I’m afraid to take the next step and also don’t really know how or where to begin

    • @inyourfayes
      @inyourfayes  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question, these are some points that helped me out heaps👇:
      By sharing your work on Instagram, a lot of people discover/know that you're taking photos. Besides that, you can always offer a brand or business a free photoshoot. When they like the shots, you can present them a nice proposal + pricing for future shoots together.
      Another way is, walk into businesses and ask if they need photography done. Make sure you have your Instagram ready to show or even print out your photos to show as well. This way they know exactly what they can expect from your work and what they will be spending their money on💸
      Keep in mind, the more you show your work/yourself on internet/in real life. The more people are likely to book you! 🙌🏼 Hope this helps you out, if you have more questions, feel free to ask away! :)

    • @inyourfayes
      @inyourfayes  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I totally understand that it can be scary, but keep in mind: you're in control! You can say yes and no to bookings. But if you never give it a go, you'll always keep wondering if it would've worked out. That's how I felt as well when I started, but you get the hang of it so fast!!!🏆

      Presets can always be tweaked, and likely should be in many cases. They are a starting point for a particular mood or feel for a particular shoot, and you can adjust from there. Selecting a preset and calling it done isn't the way to go.
