Have the "older" 906H2 and also use synthetic oil and change a long time before needed to keep engine clean inside. I use the John Deere 0W-40 plus 50-2 but might have to change to something different since the dealer dont have it in stock anymore.
@@gibsonlandscapeconstructio7984 Will try to get oil from another part of the country or maybe switch to Amsoil, yes you are right they last a long time with care. I change oil and all the filters every 150 hours and regular wax it with meguiars paste wax so it looks (almost) like new even after 9 years plowing snow. I also added a engine block heater to avoid cold starts.
