When I was under anesthesia I had the most extraordinary experience and I remember myself repeatedly saying "это" (which means "that" in Russian). Now I understand what was that.
I can listen to Alan Watts constantly, I never get tierd if hearing his words 🩷💎 thank you so much for still giving on & on & on 💚 love from Amanda in Blackpool England UK 🩷
I have been enjoying listening to Alan Watts. The analogies he used make it easy for me to picture and understand his ideas. There's so much we don't know 😎
Watts said this is not an idea or philsophy or believe but ideas, philosophy, believe are now widely been attached to the teaching making it look contradictory.... Only The creator of the universe and pure conscience is reliable though I love watts teachings with observation of non attachment
"Zen is not a doctrine. There's nothing you're supposed to believe in. It's not a philosophy in our sense " "..its not a set of ideas". And then he goes on to give you many sets of ideas for what it is. "All this universe is like water". Should I believe that? Is that an idea in a set of ideas that I should listen to? "And the only way to survive in the water... is to learn how to swim." "You let go, you relax, you give yourself to the water". You see, he just said all this stuff that seems profound and then contradicted it directly after. Sounds like he's giving us a set of ideas after all! I don't deny the mystery of the universe and the profound nature of reality. But this type of thinking actually hijacks your mind to think that there is nothing concrete in the world. But in order to do so it betrays its own set of rules. In order to say this is how the universe is, you have to rely on something solid. And this mindset tricks you into thinking that there isn't anything. It is aiming at real profound part of reality but denying another. It FEELS good because its partially right. But it's missing something important.

Yes he gave ideas but didn't say you should believe in them. Just live, listen, feel and flow
