    *This one is crazy.*
    It’ll change the way you look at the show/ending.
    In the episode “Chasing It”, Carlo tells Tony about an episode of ‘The Twilight Zone’-called “Nice place to visit” - That episode is about a criminal that dies in a shootout--and ends up in the ‘afterlife’; In the afterlife-he has a ‘guide’ that takes him places. And he ends up going to a _casino-where he_ *wins every bet, and is constantly surrounded by women…*
    He thinks that everything is so perfect-that, he must be in heaven;
    But, it turns out-He’s in Hell.
    Sound familiar?
    When _Tony goes to Vegas, and goes to the Casino, with Chris’s girl, and wins every bet…_
    Oh, and when he’s in the Casino: _Tony sees a Devil on a slot machine…_
    Yeah.
    Crazy right?
    I think Tony’s in Hell-in the last scene, and he’s being forced to relive it, just like-the way Chris described Hell; “they whack you the same way, every night”.

      Interesting connection

    • @matinazadeh6870
      @matinazadeh6870 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      So then what episode do you think Tony officially dies?

    • @CipherSerpico
      @CipherSerpico 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +15

      @@matinazadeh6870 That’s a great question.
      So, there are a few things that seem plausible to me:
      1. _’Tony “officially died” when Junior shot him’._
      That would explain a LOT of things:
      ‘Why Tony saw that “Whiteout” at the ‘end’ of his coma (Meadow told AJ “white = death, too” when they’re talking about Poetry)…
      It would explain Tony’s “coma dream”;
      i.e. It wasn’t a “Dream”-It was some form of the Afterlife/Purgatory/Hell…
      It would explain Tony’s “miraculous recovery”-despite the Doctors saying that it was extremely unlikely that he would ever recover…
      So, Tony would’ve died when everything went White during his ‘coma dream’ (Whiteout-rather than a blackout) - and everything we see after that/the entire last season-was actually ‘Tony’s Hell’.
      That’s the Theory that I usually lean towards.
      Another possibility, even though it’s probably a stretch…
      I’ve wondered if the “Religious aspect” of the Show-was more like Buddhism, rather than Judeo-Christian…
      And, Tony actually “died”, _multiple_ times; but, he had “multiple lives” on the show.
      So, maybe he “officially died” when Junior shot him, _and/or_ he also “died” in the 1st Season-when Tony’s Mother & Junior try to have Tony killed-but those two guys that ambushed him in his car… *_somehow_*_ … were not able to land a single shot-at point blank range…_
      - And/or
      Maybe Tony “died” in the very first episode -when he collapsed while he was cooking on the grill…
      Sorry if I’m doing a terrible job articulating all of this. But, that’s kind of, what I think lol.

      @Sea_witch_ 8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@CipherSerpico I loved both your comments + reply it gave me goosebumps! I do disagree on the theory that he could've died when he got ambushed though, as many episodes after it prove otherwise. But I would add to the other possible death theory that I think he actually could've died with Chris, sent straight to the afterlife where he meets that girl and the casino etc till the end.
      Either way, your theory remains scary to me because as soon as I saw the last scene of the last episode (I still remember it, I rewatched the show during 2020) I immediately felt like Tony walked into "his past", meaning he never really lived it but is just an illusion like the ones he used to have when dreaming (and in the hospital after he got shot by June) the car being driven by his dad, the house, the dock dreams.
      I've also been left since then with the memory of doctor Melfi when she dreamt about Tony in a car accident. What if it was like an omen to him actually dying with Chris?, I dont know. But I surely do think he was dead in the end, and his memories were just replaying a dream for him over and over like before.

      Tony Sirico evolved a lot as an actor over the course of the series (according to David Chase). Chase said that that was one of the things that he most enjoyed on his time on The Sopranos : witnessing Sirico's evolution. That and the technical loophole of him never ratting to the feds is what allowed that to occur.

      They already said he doesn't die that night. The whole point of the cut to black is that it doesn't matter, he's going to be killed or jailed at any point and he's never going to have peace. Even a simple night dinning with his family and he is paranoid and isolated.
