    Building SFF for a first time build was a huge endeavor! You did great, and it looks like you kept a level head through the process. Like you said, it's not as scary as you think as long as you do your research beforehand. Congratulations on the new PC!!

    First of all AWESOME BUILD!!!
    Secondly thanks for mentioning me 👍 I like helping people with their builds and see the results, especially stunning like yours turned out! And to see that you spent so much time to troubleshooting it and making all the adjustments to pull out the max out of your system, good job man! And while we are on that subject, you have put enough thermal paste 😂 no more no less, literally the perfect amount!
    P.S. If you are planning on custom cables, like extensions, don't do it, not worth in SFF cases, you would have like another mess of cables to hide somewhere, and cables won't affect your airflow, but if you want custom sleeved cables in some different color like directly from the PSU, full custom set, go for it 😉
    Once again AWESOME BUILD!!! 👊

    Just an FYI, as far as I’m aware (and if you look at Optimum Tech’s comparisons, the NF-A12x25 is basically the same in performance as the P12. For considerably less it’s a pretty good value.

  • @JamieR
    @JamieR 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Great first build. I recommend doing a PBO undervolt. This should drop ur CPU down to 65-70c 100% load even over 1h. My 5600x was full load 65c with Arctic Freeze ii 240mm. You can do it in the bios under advanced for overclocking.
    I have my way of doing it, but I recommend looking up some tech YTers to learn about it :) It'll increase performance, lower temps, and you'll be able to lower fan speeds too as a result of the overhead.

    • @JonImperial
      @JonImperial  2 ปีที่แล้ว

    For your first time you did great. And yes you did a perfect amount of thermal paste. But here’s a little tip for the future.
    The 5600x is a great cpu, but the issue is that for content creation it doesn’t hold up too well compared to say a i5 12600k because they have something called (E Cores). For your next pc I recommend trying intel or a higher core Ryzen like a R7 or r9, Or trying a i5 or a i7 (using a i9 in sff is really hard as they tend to get pretty hot. I’d try to run a i7 at the most because they still have a lot of cores are aren’t that hard to maintain.) Personally on my next build I’m going to either use the a4 h2p or the Cooler Master nr200p max. Not sure which yet. Going to run a 12700kf and a 4070ti super. Wish me luck I may need it lol.

      I only have a 1080p monitor right now. I would love to try a 1440p though!

      I just bought a 1440p monitor. I was getting 130+ FPS with 100 render resolution.

      @@JonImperial The title of your video reads I built a PC with NO EXPERIENCE. This sentence states that the pc has no experience not that you had none.
