Kdrama television shows that I have watched have only ever been one series. Making a second series serves no purpose. The first series was wonderful, it’s one of my favourites why would you want a follow up? Sequels rarely equal the first, so best left as is. And anyway, although the ending wasn’t the happy ever after we might have wished for, the ending finished on a suitable note - Son O Gong gave Samjang one of his red eyes, we all know he’ll go to the ends of the earth to find her, why spoil it by creating a long drawn out saga ... this is one for our imagination and dreamtime. Me? I don’t want a second series, I would prefer to be left to dream.
At 3:14 or 3:15 is that a younger actor playing playing a younger Son O Gong? I have always thought it was Lee Seung Gi. But I finally got the video to pause without a blur on this shot, and while I still believe it 'might' be Lee Seung Gi, now I'm not sure.
