CIVIC CUP 2021 Round 7 Anglesey Circuit Onboard Jamie Tonks

This is our onboard footage from Round 7 of the Civic Cup 2021. I started the race in 3rd and was able to hold the position until the front 3 closed up after 10 of the 15 minute race where 1 lap of fighting enabled my to come out in 1st position. With my tyres still in a good position I was able to get my head down and finish around 1.5 seconds in front of my team mate Luff despite a scary moment coming through the fast right Church Corner
During the following reverse grid race I was able to work from 10th to 2nd position in the race and come away from the weekend with a win and 2nd.

Brilliant driving mate. I was just thinking what a great job you were doing sitting behind the two in front and adding to their pressure and you could see they were gonna tangle. I was really pleased for you when the guy in front locked a wheel shortly after....you drove the perfect race mate. I was only watching to view the track in real life after doing a few laps in Assetto Corsa 😃

Thanks. It was a great weekend for us. Anglesey just seems to destroy your tyres so I presumed it would be a case of who had the better ones at the end of the race and it worked in my favour. Thanks for your comment
