John Deere is comparing a bigger tractor to Kubota's smaller one. ( not fair) The Kubota MX lifting max in the rear is 2310 John Deere doesn't have the skid steer attachment like the Kubota so you'll need to buy John Deere attachments only
Typical JD comparison. They seem to always pick something from someone else that's not even in the same class. My sons operation has CaseIH, John Deere and Kubota, each does it's own thing quite well but comparing an MX series to 5000E series is ridiculous.
I’ve had both, my experience with lots of saddle time John Deere is superior, Don’t take it wrong that’s just my personal experience, whether someone buys a John Deere or Kubota they should be proud of what they have
It appears to be a smaller tractor because it has smaller wheels...and it's built lighter. Wheel packages can change. This is the tractor Kubota offers in the comparable class. Just like in every other class...they are lighter. Doesn't say much about their driveline when they are bragging about having heavier steel body panels.
They are in the same class, the Kubota just makes their tractors smaller than John Deere tractors generally. I use both of these tractors on my farm and the John Deere I think is better.
John Deere can you please do tests that are half fair? The kubota is a smaller tractor thats why theyre never in same shot. Test tractors that are at least comparable
Mountain Biker 257 how is comparing two similar horsepower tractors in the same class unfair? Because the Deere has larger wheels it's a larger tractor? That doest account for Kubotas weak points...that carry over every single frame size.
Eric Ross Actually, no. The MX and the 5E are each company's economy tractor offering in that horsepower class and the base price of the 5E is less than the MX.
I am just saying with the options they list 540 EPTO etc (not a base option) the more realistic comparison value wise is the 5660. Both can be configured very similarly feature for price.
Eric Ross Not sure what your saying. The 5045E comes standard with a 540 pto...as well as rear SCV's...included in a base price that is less expensive than the Kubota. It's about and "efficiency" model. It doesn't matter if the Kubota doest have the same features. When it's being sold as an 'Efficiency' machine, it's about getting the most bang for your buck. If the argument is that the 5045E is too big for your needs, I can see why the comparison should be different. Then, the model should be a 4M.
While this comparison is not apples to apples, there is no getting around that these are excellent machines. I have farmed with the 5100 M and 5100 MH for the last 7 years growing mixed vegetables in rocky New England soil and can attest that these tractors are true workhorses.
0:24 "even dents from heavy falling objects" *proceeds to show dirt falling on the hood* uh Hugh....so if I drop a 500 pound rock on the hood....it still won't dent....okay, hold my coffee and get me 5E and a 500LB rock. Lets see how really durable the hood is when compared to a 500LB rock being dropped on it.
Hello, I went to my local John Deere dealer a couple of days ago and they got priced out for a 2038R I got priced at $21,166 and I think that's a pretty good price I also want a brochure link to the 2038r thank you. Best regards, James. By the way nothing runs like a Deere
James, we do not have a product brochure for the 2038R Compact Utility Tractor at this time but you can view features and specifications of the 2038R on the product page here: bit.ly/2MrrdsS. Also, please keep in mind that any pricing information listed would simply be the MSRP as pricing for parts and equipment are set by our individual dealers.
Ok kiddies stop arguing if you want a price spend like 30 mins looking big around or call a dealer it ain’t that hard and if you want a real tractor don’t get something this small new if u need a tractor this size get a older one for cheaper and it will probably outperform and outlast the new hunks of junk. I wouldn’t buy a small tractor from jd or kabota any time soon
You guys do know that the john deere 5e is a utility tractor and the mx is a compact tractor rite go woch the mesicxs vidoe they will tell you the truth
Joe, thanks for your interest! You can explore our 5E Series features, attachments, and pricing by using our Build Your Own tool at configure.deere.com/cbyo/#/en_us/products/agriculture/tractors/utility_tractors.
okay I am not going to lie all tractor manufacturers really need to catch up with the power reverser this has been a option for over forty years and is known as the greater special catch up with the times people one of the worst parts about my M4800su is a fact that reverse is stupid slow send reverse is only a low range option
I bought a new m4d-071 in october 2019, my 1st kubota, I would not buy another kubota, steering is weak, the air is weak and the loader and remote hydraulics leak down, on the 2nd loader valve, with loader cylinders rebuilt, dealer hasn't started on the remotes yet but right now I'm not real hopeful that anything will be fixed, really disappointed in Kubota
Couple of things left out. Price difference between the two w/same equipment. 5 year cost analysis. Not sure if I buy into the 90 vs 120 "service" items. How many of those can you do on your own or do you have to get someone of JD IT to show up to fix things? Not ragging JD or Kubota. Grew up Deere but the playing field has changed and Psst, John Deere, some of us LIKE metal skins. If it can "dent" it can be popped out. Plastic (no mater what you want to call it), cracks, can't handle laying something as simple as a bag of seed without crushing it. Even my riding lawn mower, a Husqvarna, has a metal hood and that's why I walked away from a cub and deere.
We have a 2006 Kubota mx5000 and we have never had to adjust the brakes or clutch we have had to replace to clutch because someone buried it in a swamp and water got in it but we have never adjusted the brakes or clutch and flywheel hey work like new
Hi James, yes there are several loaders that would be compatible with our 5E Series. You can learn more about them on page 13 of this brochure: bit.ly/2HGu65j.
I'm laughing at the fact that the majority of the "top" comments are just people saaying that this is an unfair comparison, or doing those "next we compare (larger object) to (smaller object)" comments.
Kevin Riffey it’s takes no more time to change attachments than a skid steer quick attach. If you’re not running multiple machines with different attaching systems it’s not a big deal.
I like both brand but I don’t think if your comparing 2 brands u should let one of the brands u are comparing do it cause they will most the time shift it into there favor cause they want money and they will do anything for money even lie
Thanks for your question! The Snow Blades available will vary depending on which loader you have installed on your 5E Series Utility Tractor. The Frontier™ AF10 (F) Front Blade has an optional hydraulic angle adjustment unit and is compatible with 100 and 200 Series Loaders, you can learn more about it here: bit.ly/2Z8uIeE. We recommend reaching out to your local dealer for compatibility and ordering information for attachments for your tractor. If needed, you can find the contact information for your local dealer here: bit.ly/2EtJaUK.
Your advertising john Deere Kubota is made in Japan and john is made in China and Kubota can easily destroy John Deere Kubota can lift about 2 tons because we own one same model and same year to. plus Kubota has a tuffer diff. And my name is Xavier and I am 10years old 😒
I bought a 5075e back in December. It is an absolute power house. I am not brand specific. There are aspects of all tractors that I like and that I don't like. I honestly thought I would never own a Deere because of price. But the guys at my local dealer are awesome. Service is great to. I don't use my tractor for farming. I use mine paired with a Wallenstein winch in a small logging operation. Neither one has let me down. Ever. I have pulled some big wood with my tractor and loaded it onto my log truck. I have used other tractors the same size and 10hp bigger that have failed at loading. If anyone has any questions on a 5075e and want an honest answer ask me.

this is so funny the Kubota is by far a superior tractor compared to the John Deere you can buy these John Deere tractors on Alibaba straight out of their factory in India
Just because there both fifty five horsepower doesn’t mean there the same tractor in fact John Deere seems worse at the end because it’s a bigger tractor than the kubota
I’ve had a 4701 and put over 800 hours on it the first year, it does not compare to John Deere and I’m comparing it to the four series not the five series, Kubota is a good tractor but John Deere is much more stout but this is my personal experience from running my tractors hard seven days a week, if you own a Kubota you should be proud of it but I do feel John Deere makes a stronger tractor, This may have not been a fair comparison to the MX serious Kubota but the MX series is a step above the L series which does put it in comparison to the smaller five series John Deere tractor

Yea i was wondering about that i've put together many 52 horse HST, but they are trying to make their product look the best it can, Kubota does the same thing, Almost every brand does that
One thing I don't like about the HST is how it struggles to pull a plow but on the other hand that ain't the engine is the transmission if you have a geared trans the wheels will spin before in bogs down
I wonder why you did not compare the 5 e to Kubota M series now that would be fair, I will do a Japan tractor over your India tractor anyday sad to see John Deere doing so bad;;;;;;
I'm a Deere fan but you need a larger Kubota to make a fair comparison.
Same, they aren't fair enough
Agree kubota tractors are light
This Deere is comparable to kubotas utility series, M series, not MX.
Yea
The awesome thing I like about kubota is that there made in the USA 🇺🇸
next we compare a Gator to a golf cart.
Haha made me laugh
WAY to true
True as it gets
Gator would be better
Nah nah a freight liner they sux
Next we compare the john deere skidsteer to a shovel

No, a spoon
J S M Gaming I see what you mean but I have both of the exact tractors and the John Deere I soo much better.

next we compare the X9 to a toaster.
next we compare a John Deere skid steer to a spoon
John Deere is comparing a bigger tractor to Kubota's smaller one. ( not fair) The Kubota MX lifting max in the rear is 2310
John Deere doesn't have the skid steer attachment like the Kubota so you'll need to buy John Deere attachments only
y'all just compared a utility John tractor to a compact Kubota tractor
compare the 5055e to the Kubota 5660 special utility

put them next to each other the kubota is smaller because its a smaller tractor

It's actually worse to run the engine RPM at a lower rate with the PTO than it is to run it fast puts more strain on the engine
Sam Dittmar these aren’t lawn mowers buddy
I honestly just clicked this to see how Deere would cheat it
Why didn’t you compare it to the same size Kubota m series I believe John Deere has gone far left and thinks we’re all stupid
Because they wanted to make they're tractor look better

I think both are good
But atleast we can fix the kubota on our own without a lawsuit
But the price tag comes with the John Deere
What’s the background song?
This is a john deere youtube channel of course they there aren't going to tell you something about kubota that is better than john deere
They did get one thing right out of this unfair comparison. The 5E is a heavier tractor than the MX5200.
1:53 kubota has that too

and the rpm FuEl thing its like comparing the low rpm of a hit n miss engine to a idling v8
This is why I like cnh more there actually honest
They're comparing the gear transmissions on these. Put a hydrostatic on that Kubota and BOOM. Great loader tractor.
Who saw them putting the 3pt down for the kubota
Outdoor maniac51 he did lol, his arm when down like he was pushing down lol
I did haha

John Deere all the way
If you buy John Deere you have to buy there attachment to fit there loaders Kubota you don’t have to any ski steer attachments will fit it
Yeah i ran a 5055E before, when i was 9. I would still probably prefer a kubota
John Deere all the way!!Nothing runs like a Deere like if you agree
The Squad Gaming why do you have a GTA 5 profile pic lol
Oh that I changed it s###
Ewwww a yellow seat it looks discussing
the_carspotter your disgusting

JD is the best!
Kubota.
Kubota is still 10 times more reliable
Heck no
@@jonilucas8687 heck yes john deere did a onfar compression
It is very biased, they may have the same horsepower but the application of each tractor varies.
Next we compare a combine to a reel mower
I mean my kubota mx picks up 4,000 pound hay bales fine and my full size cabbed m80mx plows fine like a John Deere 4460
It should be compared to the M series Kubota not the MX. Bad comparison Deere!
Jeff Kuivanen oh Deer.get it?
I got a kubota m5700 and it never breaks or stops not even with 6,000pounds kubota never breaks down
kubota tractor lover me too I had mine for 5 years not a single problem just do oil changes

Powreverser transmission is great for more than just loader work that transmission is invaluable to us

It sounds obvious that the John Deere 5E tractor would be the best buy for a farmer, but it depends on who is buying the tractor.
Pena que este tipo de videos no se hagan en europa

That green paint better hold up to dirt... you pay a lot for that!
@ John Deere - The MX5200 is better compared to a 4 series tractor. Specifically a 4052M. Why so dishonest? This just looks bad on John Deere CO.
the 5400 Kubota is comparable and you pay for what you want.

I own a JD 3025e! I love this tractor! Best purchase I ever made!
Well if kubota is so bad why do you sell it on authorized dealerships
John Deer for life!
Utb/Long 445, year of production 1975 , 45 hp tractor, in 1500 work hours 0 clucht and brakes adjustments, hydraulic lift power of over 1.500kg,
The John Deere is 2x the size of the kubota. They should have compared the l4701 with a hst transmission. It would have beat that John Deere.

We have this exact kubota and every time I am hauling dirt it always tips forward so I have to go super slow and keep the loader down. It likes to tip
Kubota has better side by side
I wonder why you did not compare the 5 e to Kubota M series now that would be fair, I will do a Japan tractor over your India tractor anyday sad to see John Deere doing so bad;;;;;;
In punjab india Johndeere 5310 is best
