Yes, it's definitely nice to watch these many trains and their meets. The material is from my visit to Birmingham in November 2016, but the video is indeed a 2017 product :)
Nice production as usual with your new intro. Loved the triple play at about 14 or so. Great activity at Bham. Miami to Blue Ridge for 2 weeks of peace and quiet in a few weeks. Want to take wife to Dalton but she would probably freeze. LOL.
Thanks! Haha, I can imagine that she's gonna freeze that far up north lol. I'd love to go up the Blue Ridge in this period of the year as well, particularly if there's snow.
It's a great town for railfanning and the spots on the bridges have the advantage that one doesn't miss a train - even if several meet. Happy New Year!
Happy New Year. New 2017 Subscriber. Thanks for all the hard work you've put in on these. Absolutely fantastic. Working my way through them. Especially thanks for adding titles and written explanations for some of the movements. One suggestion, for us not from the south, if it isn't a whole lot of trouble, can you transcribe some of the important radio chatter ? The accents are so thick alot of times I miss what they said.
OHHHHHHH WOW COOL 3 TRAINS IN MEETING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOODNESS.
Nice video. I grew up in Bham, left in 1969. I had use maps.google.com to get oriented. So much has changed. Fascinating to see what heavy rail traffic goes through the city. I had no idea. Saw Sloss furnace complex in the background in the east. Need to visit aqain, my tee shirt from the furnace gift shop wore out years ago. When I was a teenager I lived in Norwood, would walk across the viaduct, and the furnaces were still active, you could watch the molten waste being dumped from the furnaces. Nice to see something positive about my hometown, for a change.
+HeartlandTuber Thanks! It seems many things are changing in Birmingham. I've talked to some people who live there and who told me stories about the past. It was quite interesting.
Fantastic video. I especially enjoyed the 3 trains passing at time 14:26. Thanks for sharing my friend!!!

12:15 shouldn't that be Q025 not 26, the southbound not the northbound. It just seems confusing why the NB would be coming from that direction.
Great videod...More please
+Mike Snow Thanks! I'm gonna work on the second part asap.

What's the name of the NS district that operates in Birmingham?
That norfolk southern train was waiting a long time for free
Yes, this is true. CSX had the right of way for a long time.
