2033 and Last Light look ridiculously good for their age even considering the remaster .
And Exodus looks like pure eyecandy . I never forget a game that looks hopeful and hopeless at the same time .
shhhh!!!! those aren't remasters! kinda remakes or updated **remaster** is a way for devs to lie about making something old new but there isn't nothing new or ....worst downgraded!
@@tumado7304 a lot of game remasters these days are just the old games but with better textures, updated lighting that often looks worse than the original’s and some improved models.
@@fishfood8711 name one...that has something improved , res isn't a issue on pc textures? barely, but removing effects and actual downgrade tons of them
@@tumado7304 quake enhanced, mass effect legendary edition, halo 2 anniversary, etc. And metro 2033 redux have changes, even if they are slight, which include changes to lighting, models, and textures
@@muggerpugger3231 mass effect was nothing ,they even removed some effects ...metro redux that one was almost a remake ,anniversary was also kind of remake.
The Metro series has come a long way. Excellent show case of all three games. I always like your Comparison videos, they are great.
On top of everything exodus also has great audio. The shots sound amazing. They improved everything graphics to animations to model designs since the last two games considerably. An open world attempt too which is pretty cool in itself. As you explore areas you constantly wonder if small detours are worth the resource cost. Mutants dont drop any loot lol. The only things previous games did better is more atmospheric set pieces. Exploring claustrophobic metro tunnels infested with monsters feels more fun than huge open environments imo. Could use with a fun mutant defense dlc.
With Exodus, they tried to be a bit more like Stalker, which I really appreciate, but you can tell it was way too ambitious for them, because as you continue through the game, the locations get smaller and more limited, eventually becoming completely linear like the previous games. And I think that's also where the game is at it's weakest, because the set pieces or situations aren't as interesting as they were in the previous games, and they copy some things and very specific monsters (like the librarians) - you can often tell when the developers start running out of money and time. The game is great, I just wish they could afford to expand it a little bit more, especially since the story seems to be complete. Maybe now they will revisit Stalker again.

Played all 3, best single player trilogy, some bugs & glitches, but overall great series 🏅
Wow the stark differences from 2033 to exodus is incredible. It's so amazing to see the improvements in graphics image stability and overall immersion into an artificial world. Thank you to all the creators of this masterpiece class of games

Got Metro redux yesterday, I can say I'm very happy with my purchase the gameplay an story is incredible
I got into the series recently finished 2033 redux and I have to say it's a pretty decent game for it's time although their are some decisions that I don't really agree with other than that I can't wait to get into last light the story is really intriguing as the first game ended up quiet weirdly imo
I never played before metro games, jsut know about them but never really interested, past week I decided to buy metro exodus and I don't regret it, is a wonderful piece of art with beautiful music and great story, the gameplay is amazing, after exodus I'll play all of them, this games are just underrated
This brings lots of memories i used to played it as a kid since I'm not scared of horror games when I was playing metro 2033 redux i got stuck in dry station the second game i got stuck in the quest the quest is "find a way to get upstairs" i can't do that and the exodus i didn't play i didn't know there was a exodus
I played exodus because it was on sale, and now I am half through playing all the games on the hardest settings. So much fun
Last light holds up really well to today's standards and is by far the most fun of the 3 games.
Yes, Last Light is very cool from a story point of view. Maybe he got lost in the atmosphere somewhere, but the characters, the plot of the game and the main message are great. For me, this is the best part of the metro, metro 2033 is worse in the plot, and Exodus went a little wrong for me, for me it's not really Metro. But no matter which game is better or worse, they are all great anyway!
metro exodus and last light are very good games but metro 2033 redux is perfect, the atmosphere, the sounds, the feeling of being watched its immersive
Metro 2033 has aged very well, is magic, im playing all metro saga on my ps4 😊❤

i have played metro 2033 and last light several times and want to play the rest of the metro games too, i will soon get all the parts. It's just one of my favorite games, I would love to buy it again and again and play it without knowing the game.
I preferred 2033 out of all three games. Not only for the story but also for the gameplay mechanics. Exodus has very weird, clanky gameplay, and don’t get me talking about the camera and aim sensitivity... 🤦🏽♂️ to fix the camera sensitivity though, I recommend playing it on the PC.
Gonna have to turn the sensitivity up to max for console, that should fix it.

All 3 of them are good in their own way. We might think 2033 and Last Light have not good graphics, but in those days before exodus it's really realistic for all of us. I thinks their graphics are all good, Exodus have more physic, details, better shadows and equipment

I have only just started playing these and one thing thats hit me more than any other game is the sound. Recently acquired a new dolby atmos 7.1 system and jeez the atmosphere is amazing
Metro Exodus looks the best but not by a huge amount. 2033 and Last Light look surprisingly good for being as old as they are. Can't wait for Stalker 2, which I imagine will be similar to this series in many ways.

Metro exodus was my favourite while 2033 was my first.
2033 and last light were sooo nostalgic
I just finished up the stalker series on series x. So I figured now is the time if any to play through the Metro series again. It's been years since 2033 but redux version holds up well the level of detail is stunning. I'm taking my time and going to try and 100% all three games. The ghosts level is spooky as hell. Can't wait to experience the spider level again!

Exodus is crazy and fun reminds me of rage enemies come 4-6 at a time & graphics seem the best to me physics how he moves and climbs I def wanna start the series and continue from exodus
