I love my cordless spin wave. I have tile, hardwood, laminate, and waterproof laminate. It cleans really well, is easy to use , holds a long charge and the floors look better than when I use the steam mop.
I have the same. I have 4 rooms to mop on my downstairs floor. Do I need to change out the pads for new pads each time I go to a different room? I have 3 dogs and they get my floors pretty dirty. I would think that after I mop one room, the pads would be pretty dirty.
@@trixiek2582 , I bought extra pads because they do get dirty. I have two great rooms. I change pads with each room. Still way easier than bucket and mop…cleaner too.
Odd comparison as there is a corded version of the Spinwave as well. We find the counterrotating heads make it "float" and therefore effortless to maneuver. Buy extra pads (off-brands are fine) and it is always ready.
I use the spin wave for clean ups after dinner from my kids dropping food every where and I'm replacing my Swiffer wet jet with the steam mop for whole house mopping after seeing last week's video. Thank you Vacuum wars!!
I see this mop as a deep cleaning mop because of the spinning brushes. I have a shark steam mop too but I use this like at the end of the week for deep cleaning. I find when I use it, my floors somehow stay clean for a lot longer.
Another well done review. Thanks for making it. I just had LVP flooring put in and was warned about using steam mops on it. I was told that too much steam can hurt the vinyl layer. I believe spin mops were introduced to help mitigate the potential for mishap. Just an observation I have and could be totally wrong.
Love mine. Works great for families with kids or pets who need to get dirt and spills up. I use a tineco vacuum /mop daily after for minor cleaning. The tineco isn’t great for high traffic areas. The spin wave is my deep cleaning friend
Same here. Steam may be superior cleaning method, but it’s not an option for my hardwoods! I’m going for the corded version of this Bissell Spinwave, since I have 3000sq ft of 100% hard floor. I also think you can control the moisture out on the floor with this machine, versus a wet/dry vac mop like a Tineco or Crosswave. That’s important for hardwoods, also. You want to use as little liquid as possible. Not to mention, clean up AFTER use will be easier with this Spinwave vs a Crosswave. Everyone says those Crosswaves work best if you vacuum first anyway. So, what time is it really saving me. One other thing I have read repeatedly is that pads clean better than brush rollers. Which might be why, too, that steam mops often out perform roller mops. So, if that’s true, I think I’ll get a better clean with this Spinwave. After all, cleaner floors is the whole goal anyway. Just my 2 cents!
I purposely use the corded one, it has more power and it takes me longer to do the whole house than the rated time. But i suggest using a little more spraying to get it wet to avoid circle marks
Maybe that’s what I’m doing but I thought I was using plenty spray! My tiles came out foggy, like covered in this residue and spin marks everywhere! Why???😮
I'm glad you did a review on this and put it against the steam mop. I wish the conclusions were more clear, as in one being clearly superior over the other. I went with a Bissell SM over this SW mostly yet I craved a comparison review. I get the impression the SM is still better even by a slight after watching.
I know this is an old video but I think it’s worth noting that steam mops are damaging to vinyl flooring. The heat from the steam mop can cause the vinyl planks to warp. I have vinyl floors in my apartment so I decided to get the spin wave since it’s seems as effective as the steam mop but are different in the way they operate.
And does it do it's job on vinyl flooring? I'm thinking about getting a Spinwave. I got really rough dry-back PVC flooring so I'm a little scared it doesn't do a good job cleaning between the grains of the planks.
Have you done a review on the bissell symphony pet all in one vacuum and Steam Mop? If so, can you direct me to the review? If not, it would be great if you could do a review on it. Thank you!
I have very grainy laminat floor and 2 dogs which make cleaning floor very hard as dirt goes in the grains and is not removed with standard mop. What would you recommend please?
I love your videos! If I really wanted to use pre-moistened wipes like Swiffer or Clorox floor wipes.... do you think they could be Macgyver'd to attach to each side so I get the help with the scrubbing?? I hope so!
I'm slightly put off by the Crosswave because cleanup seems gross as you have to get in the head to clean it out even with the auto clean feature. This doesn't vacuum at all and you'll be spreading dirty water around with it, but you can use it for buffing the floor.
I don't know why I'm watching this at 1:26 in the morning. School got out on Wednesday so it's summer vacation now, but that's bad because I really like school. So I'm slowly going crazy and Skyrim can only help so much. 🤣 Cool vid vacuum wars! 👍👍
We are both the Karcher and Bissel users. Our Bissel crosswave just died after some 5-6 years of usage. We were reconsidering our likes / dislikes and trying to decide, where do we move next. First - what we disliked on crosswave is, that it can't clean fully towards the kitchen cabinets, letting some 2-4 (1 inch) of uncleaned strip there. Second - while we would like to have a cordless version, 20-30 minutes + 4 hours to recharge and no rechargeable battery option, is completly awful imo. Like - really? We can't clean our appartment faster than in cca 1:20 hour using cross wave. For ad-hoc cleaning, those 20-30 minutes might be sufficient. But why producers don't provide replaceable battery options is still beyond my understanding ....

I am leaning towards the Bissel Symphony Pet but I'm anxious about choosing it without your opinion lol, so I wish you had a video on this subject. Mostly for dog hair and dirt clumps they bring in, no "pet messes" like urine to worry about. I like the idea of the "dry debris" tank and steam mop vs like the Crosswave that's spraying and sucking up dirty water and straining out debris which sounds gross to have to clean after. I also like the reusable mop cloths as I have vowed to stop using wasteful swiffer pads or similar "throw away and buy more" style products. I'm also concerned about the exhaust possibly blowing the pet hair around while I'm trying to vacuum it up but haven't found any reviews on the Symphony that satisfy my questions, probably because I've been spoiled by your thoroughness! When using a regular mop, you dunk the mop in a bucket of clean water and then squeeze out the dirt you just moped up, otherwise you are just spreading dirty water around.. why doesn't this happen with the electric mops?

Kinda surprised you don't mention that steam mops can damage the finish on some types of wood floors whereas this seems safer as it doesn't use heat.
Precisely. We can't use steam on our "hardwood" floors, so this seems like a great alternative.
Seems to I stole you comment sorry I took it down
Same here. Steam may be superior cleaning method, but it’s not an option for my hardwoods! I’m going for the corded version of this Bissell Spinwave, since I have 3000sq ft of 100% hard floor. When I use my Crosswave my floors are left so shiny that I can practically see my reflection, but with the Spinwave my floors have never looked so awful. VERY disappointed. 😮
When using a regular mop, you dunk the mop in a bucket of clean water and then squeeze out the dirt you just moped up, otherwise you are just spreading dirty water around.. why doesn't this happen with the electric mops?
Some of the newer ones are self cleaning.
Thanks for the videos! I’ve found my robo-vacuum, bought it, and are happy. (Ecovacs Deebot OZMO T8 AIVA.) So now I don’t need your videos anymore, and thus, before I unsubscribe: Thanks you!
I hope you enjoy it! Thank you!
Can you provide closed captions for this video?
There is a transcript available - click the tree dots that are below the video, and click "open transcript". Hope that helps!
You should do the iRobot H1 Handheld vacuum review next.
I still need to check that out!
@@VacuumWars Ok!
Would this remove shoe scuff marks off a timber dance floor?
Well... Yes, but I imagine a lot of people will slip whenever they try to dance.
Slip on a clean dried dance floor?
I see those responses too.
@@VacuumWars yeah… do you think it would?
What do you reckon?
How about the bissell spinwave robot vac review
This Friday's video will cover the spinwave.
What are your 2 favorite robot vacuums in the high end section
Ecovacs Deebot N8 Pro+, Roborock S7, and Roomba i7+ are all definitely up there. Hard to choose, even for me.
@@VacuumWars ok I was think which one is better the Roomba i7+ or s9+
@@coltonsvacuumcollection I believe Vacuum Wars said in a prior video that he likes the i7+ more than the s9+. I would choose the Roborock S7!
Ecovacs Deebot N8 Pro+ is the best, period.
