Kat is an amazing actress. She doesn't deserve to be hated. If you want an actor or actress of your choice become a director or something. The casting crew chose those who they found suitable and competent enough to portray the character .
Tune in to Arrow Season 7 on the CW - that is where she is going next. Somewhere around episode 6 she will start appearing (that is when she becomes available as Shadowhunters filming will be finished for good at that point).
I think Shadowhunters is the first show Kat plays the main character so she didn't do it well at the first place. But she got better day by day and the last episode of the season 1 I think she did really well. So I think people should stop hating Kat. Give her a chance. Everybody need chances to grow up. I believe Kat will do better in season 2.
